I don’t know why this restaurant has low ratings. I tried it and I was pleasantly surprised to find that their food is actually good. Just take a look at my picture and you will get an idea of which items are my favorites. I went in on a weekday at 4:03pm, so I got charged at the dinner rate. With that said they still had lunch items until about 4:45pm. By the time dinner items trickle out slowly, I was full. Basically, I paid dinner rate for lunch items. Service was lacking. I had three used plates piled up on my table along almost empty soda cup on my table. It took a long time for my server to take away the plates and refill my drink. Those are the two reasons I deducted a star from them.

Wasn’t the best but wasn’t bad either. I can see the potential but it’s mediocre. Would have just been a three but the fourth star is for the traditional Chinese atmosphere. Americans think it’s bad customer service but it’s really how we do business in China!

After reading all the negative reviews, I’m left sitting here scratching my head. The reason I say that is because I did not experience any of the things that were mentioned especially the ‘Go to Walmart for dog food’ part. how odd. Most have one thing in common, saying that they will never go back yet in their reviews almost all mention that«every time they go» something something bad something. meaning they have been back on more than one occasion. Be honest you go there. and you go there often, because of the convenience and the price. Eating yourself to a state of coma like symptoms is the American dream, and most of y’all are living it. So let’s actually do a review on the restaurant. shall we? Walking into the restaurant, i believe the owner’s intentions were to give you a sense of grandeur ala how Chinese restaurants were once depicted in the old Hollywood. I’m not sure how well they succeeded with that but it is nice. The décor is a bit much for a buffet though and seems that some of the money that went into the pillars could of went into creating a more diverse menu. The staff is friendly and do seem to go out of their way to help. My glass of water was never empty. Atmosphere all in all, is what most would expect when going to a buffet, be it a Golden Corral, Old Country Buffet, Piccadilly etc… A big room where a great number of people can fit in and do the All you can eat experience. The food I have to say is good for what it is… buffet food. I left feeling satisfied and did not regret my food choices or the amount that was consumed. So in my book that is a win. Let’s be frank, it’s a Chinese buffet. The food is not going for Michelin Star ratings here and no, you are not going to see a documentary about this place on Netflix either(I do recommend The Search for General Tso for a great watch). I do hope that they make some changes to the menu so that it does not seem like the same olé food you would get from every other buffet. If I’m ever in the mood for buffet or am part of a large group looking for somewhere to eat, I would definitely consider Lin’s.

This place isnt worth one star. The food is awful, service is so so and it kind of smells onside. There food never seems to be fresh when i go. The steamed rice was crunchy and over cooked. Definitely wont go back.

I’ve been there a few times the food is normally cold I also caught the Old Man and the old woman behind the bar touching the food with their hands… they don’t have good customer service and it takes forever for them to fill up the food trays

If I could give ZERO stars, I would! Quite simply, the worst Chinese buffet in town and possibly the WORST place to eat EVER. Seriously, the Health Department should shut this place down. There was spoiled food on the buffet. If it wasn’t spoiled, it was undercooked, over cooked and dried out. Just plain Icky!

I was taken here one night for my birthday, due to my love of Chinese food. This place was awful! It was horribly expense for cold buffet. For just 2 people ordering the dinner buffet it was over $ 40. We went ahead & ate there, but we won’t be back. The food was cold, picked over, they didn’t even care to make fresh. The only appetizing looking thing I found was Jell-O. This is one lesson learned. We had recently moved to the City, & soon found Panda Express. That is where we eat Chinese food now. It’s cheaper, and the food is fresher.

I stopped in here after shopping at best buy because Lin’s looks nice from the street. Guess I should have read the reviews. The staff was polite and helpful but the food was a disaster. It’s obvious that everything served was a leftover. It made me wonder where they even get this poor quality of food.

What happened. I was up here for school last year and this place was good. Food was fresh, mongolian grill was tasty and place was crowded. Stopped here for lunch and was surprised when there was only one other person inside. Reason? Its TERRIBLE. The mongolian meat was 99.9% grissle and every dish I sampled was rubbery. Tasted like they just put out the previous nights food for lunch the next day. Damn, you lost me for sure. I am never coming back. Used to eat here at least twice a week. Not going to be open much longer with such poor food quality.

Sucked! Cold food, and Egg rolls sucked old and rubber. Sushi was good, and the bean enchiladas was good. nice décor. Way over priced. Don’t see coming back any time soon. Used to be good. Not any more. And was here at 1130 so no reason for the food to suck this bad. For 12 $ can go to Pei Way much better food! Or panda express is 100 times better then this placse.

Terrible. Food cold and appears to be there for awhile. It wasn’t busy but half tables were dirty while waitstaff chit-chatted in the corner. Most items listed on menu were missing. Never again

The only thing great about this place is the décor. The huge chandelier when you walk in is stunning and I don’t even normally like chandeliers. The pillars by the buffet are beautiful. The ceiling is high and awesome. I totally love the décor. It would be a great place to have a wedding or something. However, the food is nothing exciting. The eggrolls are some of the worst I have had. The fried rice is good. lol. They have a pretty extensive dessert selection but none of it is good at all. Just a bunch of different kinds of cookies out of a box and jello. I wouldnt recommend the food but I would recommend renting it out to have a wedding there because the décor is so beautiful. Just have the reception food catered in from somewhere else.

Nice place, but average food and higher prices than its competition. After only 1 dine, I feel that I will not be returning to Lin’s unless I am with somebody who really wants to go. Likes: Great selection — they have standard Chinese buffet items, a sushi bar, a Mongolian barbeque, some American favorites for the kids, and a HUGE dessert bar all included in the buffet price. They also have a nice interior, which makes it a fairly comfortable setting. Most of their items, though generic, were okay, and the fried sugared bread was good. Probably the best item that I had was a fairly good Rangoon(which I don’t believe had any crab in it, though that’s okay by me), which had a pretty tasty cream cheese filling. Dislikes: I was not greatly impressed by anything I sampled. I tried the sweet & sour chicken, steak with broccoli, sesame chicken, something they called«Lin’s Chicken», and even a beef enchilada(which was drowned in tabasco sauce, go figure), and absolutely nothing had significant flavor. I also didn’t care for the unfortunately tough dinner roll that looked so promising on my plate. As for dessert, despite having the large dessert bar, about half of it consisted of generic cookies and different flavors of Jell-o. I liked a couple of their dessert items, but overall it was nothing out of the ordinary. I spent about $ 30 on dinner for two, which is pricey for a Chinese buffet in the area, and that factored into my relatively low rating as well. Lin’s is nice inside and has good selection, just not very good food.

We just couldn’t leave OKC without eating buffet one more time! It seemed like the thing to do because there are so many buffets here.(It was either that or one of the millions of sonics around us). Since Lin’s just opened we figured we might as well give it a shot. The décor of this buffet is really nice, complete with a large crystal chandelier and terracotta warriors. But who eats at a buffet for the décor? It’s all about stuffing your face with as much food as possible! At around 10 bucks per person, you get to eat Chinese, sushi, steak to order, and mongolian grill. You just can’t eat buffet at these prices back in California! What a steal! The chinese options were just average but the brisket was tender and surprisingly good. The sushi was not that great. They were just the same kind of rolls with just different things on top. The unagi(eel) tasted rubbery, fatty, and dry. The highlight was the mongolian grill. The cook really knows how to flavor it just right so it doesn’t taste too salty or too bland. Snaps for him! There were lots of dessert options and even had self serve ice cream that you scoop out yourself(not the machine kind). Service was good and our waitress always kept our glasses flowing. Overall, typical buffet with nothing that wowed us. Go if you’re hungry and want to eat buffet in a nice, clean décor.
