Total let down once again. Third time going and never going back! First off the girl that works the front never happily greets customers. She just flats out tell people its a self sit down place, and tells them to order when they’re ready. Plus on top of that she tells them they are out of a lot of items on the menu. How can you run a business when you can’t supply the food? When we got our food that just set the mood for the whole restaurant. Horrible. The onion rings are basically just batter. The burger was like eating cafeteria food from school. I wasn’t expecting to pay the amount I paid for such horrible quality food/service. They need some major help.

If I could give fewer stars, I would. Ordered two burgers and a salad through OrderUp. Apparently, Kaiser’s figured it wouldn’t be worth the effort of actually fulfilling the order. Now, apparently, starting tomorrow, Kaisers will have new ownership — and I’m beginning to see why. Maybe that’s why Kendra thought it was acceptable to hang up on me, twice. And then to tell me, to my face, that I needed to check my tone when I drove down to speak with the manager. Was I upset? Yes. My order wasn’t just wrong, it was inedible — burger so burnt it was crispy, when I ordered it rare, a salad with no dressing and bones instead of chicken, etc. Was I rude? No, I wasn’t. And being told to watch my tone by someone who couldn’t be bothered to brush her hair before what I’m assuming is her last day of work? Not exactly what any business should want representing their company. Do me a favor, Kaisers fans. Leave them out of your lunch plans. They clearly gave up before the ink was dry on the sales contract.

Instead of Meh, I’ve experienced better, I’m going to say meh, it used to be some much better. My first visit was 3 years ago, right after I moved all my things into my apartment upon my arrival to OKC. The bison burger was incredibly delicious and everything was on point. Each visit following my first impression went downhill, until it crashed and burned on my last visit. I chose the bison chili instead of a burger and it was downright gross. Cold, chunky in all the wrong ways, and terrible to taste. My friend got a salad and milkshake and she found a bug in the lettuce. She brought it up to the waiter and they replaced it, but let’s be real, who has the appetite to eat more leaves after discovering a little critter in the last one. They were going to charge her, so she complained and they didn’t. Really they should’ve been way more apologetic and gave her the milkshake free. Needless to say we haven’t been back.

We had a good experience here. The ice cream was delicious. Typical burger joint… so I don’t know why all these people are putting so much effort into tearing this place apart. Like seriously… they sell burgers and ice cream… your really going to be that cynical about burgers and ice cream? We were there on a Sunday afternoon about when they were closing, and they were a bit understaffed. But the girl serving us was still really pleasant and talkative under pressure of probably doing the job of 3 people.

Absolute let down. I was so excited to visit this restaurant and after finally talking my girlfriend into stop by I was kind of embarrassed. No one told us we had to go get our own drinks so after setting down I walk over to ask how I can get my drink they just pointed to the corner. The hole atmosphere in general was just really weird. We can around 1:30 on a Saturday and there was no music and no one really looked happy. Once we finally got our«chips and dip» that had been sitting on the counter by the cook for about 15 minutes it was in fact, horrible. We tried to mix the queso with the salsa to try to make it a little bit better but it just wasn’t working. Now, after all of this, I still had high hopes for the burgers. I saw our orders get out up on the counter, our waiter stopped busting his table and walked straight over to pick up our food. Grossed thing I had ever seen. He just had a big soapy rag in his had and he was handling dirty dishes. It was disgusting. So after tasting the burgers and fries, I can say it didn’t taste horrible. Some of my fries weren’t all the way cooked through but my burger was nice. I was still kind of disgusted about the hole waiter incident I was only able to make it about half way through it before I just had to leave. But anyway, I’ll stop rambling. I would not recommend kaisers and am not sure that I will ever be visiting again.

A total letdown. I’ve heard a lot about this place and has a great history. Evidently in its hey day it had one of the best burgers and ice cream in the city. People would travel from all over Oklahoma to eat at kaisers. Well, I don’t know what happened, because the food and service was very mediocre. Ordered a shake, buffalo bacon cheeseburger, with loaded fries. Burger was below average so many better places. Shake was not the homemade shake I’ve heard about. Ice cream was not home made, mixed in a machine. Very average. Loaded fries was sub par as well. They had one staff at counter and one cook. Neither seemed very happy to be there.

Just had a very nice lunch after church. She enjoyed the bison burger and fries and I has the blackened meatloaf sandwich and rings. Beware of the chipotle mayo … Super flavorful but also a touch on the hot side. I like hot but next time I’ll go with straight mayo. There WILL be a next time for sure. Thanks guys!!!

Just went to Kaisers Diner for lunch on Labor Day 2015, not much was open and we thought it would be good to try this place again. Our last experience was very enjoyable but the ownership has changed since then. We walked in and the line was to the door… it took us 20 minutes to order and then we waited 50 more minutes for our food to arrive. While we were waiting the staff was obviously frustrated and lots of bickering was happening in front of the customers, we saw many customers going to get refunds due to the wait. We also saw customers who came in well after us who got their food in less than 15 minutes!!! The staff also came and took our order two more times and then when our food came out, our order was wrong. Very frustrated with this experience and probably will never done here again, if I could give zero stars I would. Worst dining experience to date.

I love this place. BESTICECREAM and the BEST veggie wrap I have EVER had. The service was good and the food even better. It seems they help employ those who are healing. I love that too. It’s a way to give back and help each other out. I’ll always be a customer.

I really am not sure what the terrible reviews are for. Going to Kaiser’s is fun and delicious. They have tons of things of the menu that appeal to any type of eater: chicken, salmon, burgers, salads, and tons of great sides and of course, desserts. Their ice cream and shakes are phenomenal. I have never had bad service here, and don’t let the other reviews scare you into not eating here. The building is so cool and the decorations are too. The food is delicious and there are plenty of options. Prices are good too.

Based on the other reviews for Kaiser’s, I was definitely hesitant to go in for a visit. The staff were very friendly and patient while the we decided what we wanted. The food itself was beautiful in it’s presentation. We got a large sundae and it was a lot of fun to share with friends. The ice cream was nothing too special and got mixed reviews with everyone at the table. All in all it was a fun trip to a beautiful building for a sweet treat. The trip to the restaurant itself was probably more fun than than eating the actual ice cream.

There’s not really much else I can say other than this place is a total disappointment. My SO and I went in to treat ourselves to some ice cream and take a break from the heat. It’s a Friday night and close to closing time. There was no one in line at the counter, so we take a minute to look over the menu. Despite employees walking past us multiple times, it took a few minutes before someone finally acknowledged us and say they’ll be right with us. We wait a couple more minutes and then order the Strawberry Blonde ice cream soda. We pay and the employee tells us it’s going to be a wait.(Thanks for waiting to tell us until after we paid?) So we wait about 30 minutes… I see maybe 5 people get their ice cream(no one that I saw ordered anything else) Finally our ice cream soda comes out to us. It’s missing the whipped cream and cherry. Ok, that can be a forgivable sin but what we ate was so disappointing. The cream soda had clearly ran out in the machine because it tasted straight like CO2. The strawberry ice cream probably wasn’t bad but there was this really weird waxy consistency that, when mixed with the CO2, was really hard to get over. By this time they had turned off the Open light and were waiting on the last few customers. I would have said something but after the wait and shitty service, I was over it. I was able to choke down about half of the drink before I finally just threw it away. Considering the history, it is sad to say that I would recommend people skip this place. OKC has so much better to offer.

Friendly people, hot food came quickly. Bisson burger was good, so was the blackened meat loaf sandwitch. We split a bowl of carribean chicken & dumplings. It was good, but then we added the spice, the flavor went up 2 more notches. very good. I will return.

Mothers Day at Kaisers! We expected so much more. It was terrible. Nothing special about it except the building and its history! I had the Meatloaf sandwich and she ordered a burger and onion rings we also got the chips and salsa with queso as an appetizer. The appetizer came out after our sandwiches. The salsa, if you could call it that, was just a very watered down version of what looked to be the juice off of tomatoes. No flavor, no chunks of tomato or cilantro, etc. The queso was freshly microwaved in the bowl they served it in. Lol. Of course anyone that has ever microwaved cheese knows exactly what that looks like. Limp mushy onion rings that we didnt even eat. And all this for the small price of $ 28. We drank water Did not try the ice cream at $ 3.99 a scoop. I really dont expect this place to last!

Last night was our first trip to this joint and we were really craving ice cream. I got the vanilla bean and D got the salted caramel. I tried both and was disappointed that they tasted very similar. The vanilla bean didn’t really have that real and distinct vanilla flavor that I crave. It was also disappointing that the vanilla had ice chunks in it because it clearly had been frozen, thawed, and refrozen many times. I won’t be ordering ice cream from this place again. The atmosphere seemed abut chaotic. We weren’t really sure where to order and while we were eating our cones we overheard several other customers ask where their orders were. It turns out that they had ordered like 15 minutes before us and had been trying to pass the time and watched as many other customers got their orders before them. They held it together better than I would’ve. I was glad for them when they were finally served. :) I don’t want to totally trash talk this place. Apparently it originally opened in 1910 and he interior is beautiful. Many old photos and beautiful stained glass that you can’t see anywhere that lacks tris kind of history. For the beautiful history I give his place 3 stars. 1 star for the flavorless ice cream though.

Been a few times. Recently seems like it’s really gone down hill. Waited 30min for my order. When it came it was wrong. We sat outside and every table still had dishes and food out from previous patrons. Sad to see a place with so much history be such a disappointment.

Yikes. I’m a bit surprised by these horrible reviews! I came here for a lunch meeting last week and had the buffalo burger with pepper Jack cheese, onion rings and a vanilla shake before I left. The burger and onion rings were fine — not the best I’ve had, but decent. The ice cream was deeelicious. If I hadn’t had to go back to work, I might have splurged for a sundae, but I didn’t want the sugar crash to be too bad. My only complaint is we originally ordered a banana pudding shake and a red velvet shake, both flavors of which turned out to be frozen solid, unable to scoop and therefore unable to make a shake with. I know it’s not their fault, but it was disappointing considering those were the two«interesting» flavors outside of your typical vanilla, chocolate or strawberry shake. I’d definitely like to come back and try the banana pudding sometime!

Came here to have dinner out on the patio. My girlfriend gets her food out and I’m waiting 45 minutes before I got mine. Multiple tables were seated after us and got their food before I did. Service is slow here.

I wasn’t familiar with the previous management so will only speak on my experience now. I’ve been to Kaisers twice, the first during summer and the second a couple weeks ago with my family. We made the«smart» decision of heading over on a Saturday afternoon for lunch. Needless to say there was a bit of a line and crowd. With only three high chairs for kids, we had to wait until someone was done to get one for our 14 mo old, but that was fine. My husband and I ordered burgers and we got our son a chicken fingers platter. I will say they need to get a menu for children as that seems to be lacking. Judging by the price of our total bill(over $ 30), I assume the kid’s version of an appetizer was still charged at the same price? Luckily we didn’t have bad customer service. The ladies behind the counter were very busy with orders but weren’t rude. I will say it was funny(not really considering I’m pregnant) to see people who came in 20 mins after us get their order first. The food was good so no complaints in that area. I decided to entertain my sweet tooth by ordering a single scoop red velvet sundae. Their menu of customizable options is pretty overwhelming, but in a good way. I thought I was being good with one scoop but boy was that thing HUGE! Very tasty. Overall, this was a fun place with some history for us to visit.
