Venue and atmosphere were very appealing. There was one server that seemed very courteous and professional, she was not ours. The service we received was less than half rate. While the restaurant didn’t close for another 2 hours they were loudly clinking the clean silver wear in the sorting buckets right next to the front door. The task could have been done quietly or somewhere else. I saw our server leave over one of the tables take a bite of salad and then come straight over to us. We asked for our check and she ok with her mouth full of food. The food was good with pleasing ingredients, however the selection had more of old standards with cute names then original flavors unique to the restaurant.

Went here on the recommendation of a friend when we were in OKC. Everything we tried was freaking delicious. The cocktails were a touch pricey but that isn’t weird for the 404 district downtown. Pizza was delicious and the cheesy bread app was awesome. Gelato to finish off and it was incredible. Great service, good atmosphere, in a great location.

Food: 5⁄5 Service: 5⁄5 Cleanliness: 5⁄5 Décor & Style: 4⁄5 Excellent tasting pizza(mainly the great crust), and they deliver to your nearby area! The supreme was superb, and great drink/beer selection as well. This area has good potential!

Excellent pizza! I got the Bianca Neve, and added mushrooms. Probably the best ranch, and marinara I’ve ever had. They delivered in a timely fashion to my hotel, and the guy was very nice. So far, they’re my favorite part of OKC.

Guess I’m just not into trendy, over-priced restaurants. Everything about Joeys I found to be meh. The food was OK(we ordered a medium thin crust pizza, and a Philly cheese steak.) The sandwich was better than the non-descript pizza but it was pretty average as well. Knock a buck of price off of all the dishes and it would seem more in line with what you get. The building is cool and decorated nicely, the service was decent, but again, only average. Yes, they make pizza but it is not what I personally would think of when I see the word«pizzeria». Maybe that’s my own issue but this is basically a pretentious little restaurant that happens to make average pizza. I would go back as I have nothing against Joeys, it just isn’t my cup of tea as a normal hangout.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Joey’s. Passing through OKC on our way back to California we drove through town and came across the soft pink glow of their sign. We stopped in and were immediately greeted by friendly staff and seated right away. Dinner was amaze-balls. I had the spaghetti and my buddy had an equally delicious pizza. Our waitress was awesome and actually took some time to have a real conversation with us. I definitely recommend this place for anyone seeking great pasta or pizza! If I am ever in OKC again I will absolutely be going back! –Steven B.

Decided to stop by Joey’s on a whim because we had not tried this restaurant yet. We made reservations through«open table»; however, when we arrived the hostess did not have the reservation. Luckily we did not need the reservation. The wait staff was very attentive and friendly. I ordered a small Colossal Meat pizza. My girlfriend ordered a meatball and mushroom calzone. The kitchen had a question with the order so the kitchen manager came to the table to double check my girlfriends order. When the food arrived, I received a Colossal Meat calzone not the small pizza that I had ordered. My girlfriend received her calzone just as she ordered it, but the meatballs inside were cold. Once her order was finished being heated, she loved her food. The wait staff had realized the mistake with my order before I could say something and the offered to remake it. I told them not to worry about it I was ok with the calzone since it was my second choice. Joey’s however, made ma a pizza anyways to take home with me for later. I was really impressed. All in all, the experience was a good one, but I wonder based on what other reviewers and myself experienced; if there might be some confusion between what the restaurant offers on their menu/customers order and what the kitchen reads on the order. this might be a trend. I will be back, I did enjoy my experience.

The reason I’m not rating the restaurant a 1 star is because the pizza is better than average. I’m rating it poorly because they charge $ 6 extra to to make a half The Heap and half Biana Neve. The large pizza is only $ 20 itself. This was not noted on the menu and it seems extreme. Also, they had very friendly servers, but they were too conversational. We had a worker pull their phone out and show us pictures of their kids. I’m on board with being friendly, but this is a bit much to me.

Got pizza to go. Really good crust. Have a hard time finding pizza to go that is good. This is the best I think out of the 6 or 7 places I have tried.

Film row is an up and coming district and Joey’s pizza really needs to up their game if they are going to make it. The pizza isn’t bad, but their beer selection is minimal and poor. A new, artsy neighborhood needs a great craft beer selection. Our meal plus alcohol for 2 people came out to only $ 35 because we had one beer each. A good beer menu would have inspired multiple. I hope this place makes it because I want the district to do well, but they have nothing that makes them special right now. The wait staff was great — friendly, knowledgable, and honest, but a lasting pizza place needs more.

The food is good, somewhat pricy. I ordered a small build your own with 3 toppings which came to 16.25. I don’t recommend their delivery. I work downtown not far from their location. The food came about an hour later. Not bad I guess for during lunch rush. The issue that I had with the delivery was the driver. I handed him a 20 dollar bill. He said thanks and took off. I was planning on giving him the whole thing as a tip anyway. But it was rude of him to assume. My friend who was with me said he did the exact same thing to her when she handed him a 20 for a 13 dollar salad earlier in the week when she ordered delivery. He just takes the money and bolts! So, good food. Pricey. Bad delivery driver.

Never come during lunch rush 12 – 1:30. They never get your order right, then they complaint that it’s your fault after you called in before hand. I got my drink after I had finished my food. Very poor Customer service, I don’t even think the waitresses know their own tables! Right down the street from my job rarely come here. Only go if a co-worker wants to go that has never gone so they can see why I never go back. Smh

Joey’s was recommended to us while staying in town over the weekend. We decided to try it out and am sure glad we did. The Film District is a cool part of town and this restaurant is definitely an asset to it. From the moment we walked in to the time we left, the wait staff were extremely attentive and friendly. When asked for recommendation, our waitress named quite a few crowd favorites. We ordered pizza and pasta, which were extremely fresh and tasty. We’ll definitely be back the next time we come back to Oklahoma City.

I’ve had Joey’s a few times now and can solidly say that it is A-OK. Note that the location is super convenient if you’re on Film Row for other reasons – whether you’re going to Flashback, getting some work done at The 404, or catching an art show at IAO. The food is average pizzeria fare. I recommend sticking with the pizza if you’re craving carbs. I enjoy their pizza far more than I did their cheese ravioli, which was very heavy-handed with the marinara. I’ve had decent salads here too – my Caesar side salad was only ok, but I did enjoy the full salad I ordered another time. The service is always good as their staff are very kind and attentive. There is also a full bar here as well.

I posted a review I am rescinding! My husband and I had a mishap order. I should have gone through the contact process but found myself caught up in the moment! We all know ‘shit happens’ that said, I am grateful to know Joey’s has not changed hands, and still has the most AMAZING people and Pizza! In this disposable world of corporate empires, planned obsolesce & ever lowering standards, businesses who genuinely care about each and every customer, IS rare!!! Rusty(general manager) contacted me, kindly apologized and assured me this was unique. He hand carried my refund to the door step, explained their business philosophy. He regained my confidence and patronage! At Joey’s the food ISAMAZING and so are the people! Thank you! :)))

Food was great, as usual. But the service is fantastic. Great personal attention by the owner. I ordered breadsticks with my meal today, but my appetite did not agree. Without mention, the owner noticed my lack of interest and asked if they were ok. I assured him they were as good as ever, I just over ordered. Without fanfare, he cleared them from my ticket… Making them the best 2 breadsticks ever! It’s great to see an owner/manager taking a real interest in customer service. I’ll be back.

I ordered an Italian sub and cup of soup. I really wish that I had a picture of the sandwich that they brought to me. Imagine a bun with a piece of ham and a couple of other items. One piece… don’t go crazy on the meat. I mean, this is a $ 10 sandwich. You can’t be giving customer that much meat. If my sarcasm hasn’t caught up with you by now, please refrain from reading further. The sub was pathetic. It had good flavor, but had zero substance. The soup was ok, but nothing to write home about. Anyways, I would have enjoyed this meal if they would have not been so stingy. Unreal.

Had some solid pizza at Joey’s on a Tuesday evening. The Thunder were playing, so they their special: a slice and a beer for $ 8. This is a great deal, as many Unilocalers note the slices are LARGE. And, I believe a beer is normally $ 6. So, for $ 2 extra you get a huge slice of pizza. My friend I had a couple of beers, and each time we would get another slice so we could try a few. I ended up taking home around 70% of the pizza, so I ended up with dinner the next night as well. I had the Bianca Neve, the Heap, and the Acadiana. I preferred the Bianca Neve and the Acadiana to the Heap. The Bianca Neve is a white pizza(alfredo instead of marinara sauce) with garlic, spinach, bacon, feta, and mozzarella. The crust was a little thicker than I prefer, but it had a nice crunch to it. The sauce is good, not overpowering. The flavors go really well together, but this isn’t a surprise since garlic, bacon, and cheese go well with most things. I’d order this again. The Acadiana has your choice of shrimp or chicken with Cajun seasoning and bacon. I ordered chicken but they put a few shrimp on there as well. I don’t know how/why that happened, but it was nice to get to try it with both chicken and shrimp. The shrimp is cooked well, it wasn’t tough from being cooked too long. Likewise with the chicken, it had some juiciness to it. This crust was thinner, so it was more my speed. Again, nice crunch and a little char on the bottom. I would also order this one again. The heap is basically Joey’s supreme. And, heap is an appropriate name, it has a LOT of toppings. Probably too many, which I think is why it was my least favorite of the three. This isn’t to say I didn’t like it at all, but it had a lot going on. My friend got a meatball which I didn’t try but looked fantastic. So, I know what I’m getting next time I’m at Joey’s. I like how you can order by the slice or three sizes of whole pies. And, the deal on Thunder gamedays can’t be beat. I’ll absolutely return.
