This was the chosen spot for during our Mothers Day Retreat weekend. We arrived around 9am on Sunday to a light crowd of cars outside. Going inside to a restaurant that was very limited on seating and a sign saying«be seated at any open table». As the waitresses and staff busied themselves with the small packed crowd no one came to greet as we waited for an open table. Finally seating ourselves and 15 minutes later our waitress passes by arms filled with someone else order and says, «I’ll be with y’all as soon as possible». Now after what we had been through and being it was Mothers Day we acknowledge with a nice Ok. She came and took our orders in a pleasant rush. We started with biscuits and gravy to tame our desperate appetites. My order consisted of the bacon omelette, hash browns and small stack of pancakes, bestie ordered the garbage breakfast with a small stack of pancakes. To savor every thing up this place didnt disappoint. It’s worth the wait. Our waitress(don’t remember her telling us her name…) was rushed but she stayed on top of her game. I’m not big on breakfast but if I’m back near here I’ll make it a big point to stop.

The food is awesome. I ordered a spinach omelet with a side of tomatoes/cottage cheese. The service was passable. We didn’t lack for anything — and we were served promptly. Our sevice didn’t come with a smile or a personality — but our food was correctly ordered and served. So you can’t fault them there. The only reason I took off a star is because of the parking and traffic. It used to sit across the street in Casady Square which was more convenient. Now that it’s right off Britton, it’s a bit harder to exit back into traffic(especially if you’re turning left).

Here currently and I’ve never waited this long for food at a breakfast chain restaurant. We weren’t served drinks for at least the first 15 minutes. Been waiting for 40 minutes for food.

The food is always good here but the service is not. Mgmt pays no attention. The servers are all very nice, but they’re lazy. They never seem to have enough staff even when they aren’t busy– and the food comes out slow. This isn’t the best run location of the Jimmy’s. The one on N Classen is so much better.

This is my number one breakfast place when I want to get filled up. I get to go orders all the time and they never mess up an order although I have been put on hold for more than 5 minutes before. Whether it’s the omelettes or the skillets you will get a lot of good food. Their toast is the best I’ve had and their sweet potato pancakes are delicious. My favorite item has to be the biscuit debris(which I don’t order often for health purposes). Biscuits and gravy with cheese and sausage, it will definitely leave you satisfied. I don’t think I’ve had a bad experience at any Jimmy’s Egg, this just happens to be the one that I frequent.

Waited 20 minutes before anyone acknowledged my son and I waiting to be seated then was told by a server we could sit anywhere so we went a booth granted it had a plate and two cups from the previous people thee then the bus lady tells loud even for rhe while to hear«hey you no sir say a dirty table» as she walked to the table right next to the one we were about to sit at and started cleaning it instead of the one we were. EPICFAIL so we went to Joeys Café way more pleasant and better service mummy’s egg you suck

Always have loved Jimmy’s Egg and this location does everything right. Quick ticket times, though sometimes service can be slowed by heavy business which frankly is the best problem they could have. The specials are usually something to aim for thigh since every year their main menu item prices raise by about a dollar. My current visit today isn’t going so well since it’s my waitress’ second day and she’s getting zero help learning their POS system.

This place is awesome. Came recommended from someone I met. I looked on Unilocal to see what looked good… I knew I wanted the hashbrown skillet. When I got there we were seated pretty quick for a Saturday morning. The hashbrown skillet wasn’t on the menu and I asked the waitress about it and she said they would make it no problem. It was delicious! The cinnamon raisin bread is good too. She got the chilaquiles and loved them. The pancakes were fluffy, place was aesthetically pleasing. All around good experience, we will be regulars.

Great place for breakfast. I stopped here for the first time this morning and was really impressed. Although they were extremely busy, our waitress was great and all of the food was hot and fresh. I’ll definitely be back.

Best breakfast in Oklahoma. Great food, clean, fantastic service, good prices. I’ve been a customer for 16 years and hope to make another 16.

If you’re starving… Jimmy’s Egg has a hash brown skillet topped with biscuits and gravy that is to die for!!! Be sure to ask for Carmen! She’s amazing! Always the best service ! My husband and I are Sunday regulars! I think he sneaks in a couple more times a week though!

Today I got the chocolate chip tall stack of pancakes and they are so heavenly! Tons of chocolate chips!!! I probably should have got the short stack because these are so giant I am not going to be able to finish them by myself! I wish they used a little less chocolate chips because I feel like some bites are just chocolate Haha but the service was great! The coffee tastes a little watered down though! Still drinkable but kind of watery! All in all it was a great breakfast!!! As for their bathroom, I was a little surprised by the amount of TP I had to pull out! One ply? For real? I had pull out double the amount just for it to feel like a normal amount.

Great place for breakfast. Fast service. Waitstaff is always friendly. Large portions at a low cost. Go early as they are onky open for breakfast and lunch and close around 2. Jimmys egg is worth a visit.

The quality and quantity of the food here for the price just cannot be beat. We are often able to share the sides that come with most meals among everyone at the table and still have plenty of food left over. I love the homemade bread and the flavor of the Pancakes is just phenomenal with the hot syrup they provide. I always leave here extremely full and satisfied.

Garbage!!! The garbage breakfast is awesome, they basically take hash browns, peppers, eggs, sausage, and pile it on a plate and it is so good.

I had a Baja omlet with sausage instead of bacon. It was great. Hash browns were good too. I was impressed with the biscuits and gravy. The biscuits were really flaky and the gravy was great. All good in the neighborhood.

There isn’t much in the way of amazing OKC breakfast spots which is why I really enjoy Jimmy’s Egg. It is cheap, quick and tasty even if service isn’t always the best. If there is a wait, it goes by pretty quickly but there’s usually never a wait before 9 a.m. I recommend their biscuit debris and omelets. They also have some good looking sandwiches for lunch if you are in to eating animal flesh. This is the kind of place where you find lipstick on your coffee mug and have to ask ten times for a side of salsa but all the locations stay pretty consistent and are slathered throughout OKC so they aren’t hard to find!

Nothing better than a locally owned breakfast and lunch café. It beats the national chain places in every way. This location always has great service and the kitchen cranks out some of the best food in town. For something spicy and different I recommend trying the Chilaquiles. It is not on the menu but the cooks make it for themselves and love to share. Get the sauce on the side the first time to make sure it is not too SPICEY for you! If you want the basics they make a mean order of Huevos Rancheros and the omelets are always great. Each omelet is fluffy and stuffed with anything you want. They also have great healthy options. You can get egg whites, an egg white omelet with spinach and mushroom, fresh fruit, and many other items.
