My daughter recently moved to Edmond and I’m a fan of James Avery Jewelry, so we piled in the mom-mobile with her toddler and infant to visit this store. It was a quiet mid-week afternoon, the store wasn’t busy. We were helped by a friendly and knowledgable young woman, her patience was infinite. We spent about an hour in the shop, looking at every glass display case in detail. My daughter and I chose several items each, I also purchased a neck chain and charm for my 3-year-old granddaughter. The charm is the ASL«I love you» sign, which is how we say goodbye every time we Skype. She is totally enamored with her first«big girl» jewelry. One slightly odd practice of this store is the jewelry in the displays is not removed from the case to inspect or try on. Instead, the clerk goes to the back and brings the items you want to see on a tray. This makes shopping for multiple items quite time-consuming. We weren’t in a hurry, so it wasn’t an issue for us. Maneuvering my daughter’s giant double stroller wasn’t a problem, the store is well laid out with ample aisles among the displays. My daughter was wearing a pair of cheap rhinestone earrings, she was delighted with the new JA ones she chose. She took off the old pair and told the lady she could throw them away. When I got home a week later I found a phone message saying they still have the earrings and we could pick them up. I suppose the woman didn’t hear my daughter say she doesn’t want them anymore. I spent over $ 500 on our James Avery shopping spree, each item was placed in a flannel envelope, then in a very nice shopping bag with artfully stuffed tissue. When I remarked that I own other JA items, the clerk added more flannel storage packets. She made sure to tell us they polish or repair their jewelry onsite at no charge. Visiting the store(there isn’t one in my state) was so enjoyable and a good substitute for not being able to visit a local Tiffany store for sterling jewelry.

High quality jewelry for a fair price. Even as a child I knew about the quality and value of James Avery. James Avery is a Christian craftsman who creates jewelry including rings, charms, bracelets, necklaces, earrings, and so much more. We do not have one where we live so when we are in a city that has one we get our jewelry cleaned and look at what new product is out. During this trip we found a few more charms to finish off my wife’s charm bracelet. Usually the soldering takes 24 hours but the staff knew we were from out of town so they were able to get it done in two hours. The friendly staff and high quality product at every James Avery location makes it the perfect choice for a gift or to add to your personal jewelry collection.
