As far as OKC gyms go, I give this 4 stars. Transport it to the Dallas area where I’m from, and it’ll drop to 3. I’ll save you from my rant on OKC gyms, but out of a crowd of box-​like, rundown gyms in the area, this is definitely a better one. I’ve never had trouble getting the machine I want and it is generally clean and well run. I wish there was a larger variety of classes early in the morning that provide more intense cardio. While spin class is great, I wish there was another option for cardio before working hours.

Very nice clean facility. Great spin room with a large variety of classes. They also have 2 other rooms for classes as well as the cardio theatre common in most Golds Gyms.
They have a smoothie bar as well with a large selection of protein bars and snacks.
Whenever I am in OKC this is my favorite gym to visit.

Gold’s Gym Northwest Oklahoma City, shame on you! I get up early this morning for my daily workout only to find an empty parking lot because you’re closed. The sign on the door says you closed for weather and won’t open until 9:00. Look, AT NO POINT, have the streets been anything but wet in the OKC metro, day or night. Don’t give me the «safety» argument. Should I expect you to close for safety every time it rains? Several other area gyms didn’t close – I checked. It’s time to look around for something else… plus you owe me a serving of the pre-​workout I took for nothing.
You send me emails every few days promoting yourself, but you don’t send me an email stating you’ll be closed. Inexcusable.

I’ve really enjoyed working out at this golds gym over the past year or two. I especially enjoyed the cardio cinema where they show movies every day and have ellipticals, treadmills, bikes etc. for members to work out on during the movie.
The facilities are top class and always clean. The staff works hard to keep the machines clean.
But I have I say, my favorite part about this gym is the steam room. I give this my highest recommendation.
