Usually have had no qualms with GameStop. Went in looking for an Xbox 360 wired controller to hook up to my PC. They only had poor quality knock of brands, so I decided to pass. As I was walking out, they guy told me that you could use a wireless controller with a charge and play cord instead of a wired one, and he also stated that’s how he used to play on his PC. This was a bold face lie, as you have to have a wireless adapter to play with a wireless controller on a PC. I know they don’t offer much for PC gamers, but don’t lie to me to sell some overpriced used hardware.

When choosing your Gamestop there’s a few things to consider: 1. They all have the same prices. 2. They all have the same trade values. This store is probably the roomiest of the three in the North West OKC area. The service isn’t stellar but definitely passable and the workers seem to enjoy their job. Service is going to be your primary reason for going to a Gamestop followed right behind distance and selection. I’d give this place a 4 for Service, 2 for distance, and 4 for selection. Wish I could give 3.5 stars.

My boy is a game a holic. His dad thinks this is funny, probably cause he is as well. I was hoodwinked into stopping in for some games. I’m all girl, I just wander or surf the internet on my phone while my son shops any gamer store. But this particular location has really friendly staff that actually want to engage their customers in conversation. While gamer lingo is completely lost on me, the sales associate still was nice enough to chit chat with me so I didn’t feel like my son’s personal ATM. I won’t let my son sell his games to Gamestop. This isn’t going to change. But, It’s a great place to pick up pre-enjoyed games at somewhat reasonable prices. I also liked that this location doesn’t keep mall hours. It’s open till 9 on Sundays.
