I should have written this review ages ago; it might have prevented the previous lady to not make a purchase. We did have emails back and forth, but someone in Fat Daddy Sweets«failed to send my package express.» I didn’t believe it then, nor now — I personally believe that my package was not sent and that if it was, a tracking number would have been updated. I was hoping to have a great experience since this company was featured in one of Martha Stewart’s magazine, but I didn’t. Time line: Order was made in beginning of month, order received right before end of the month. Here is the letter I sent to them: I still have not received my order, nor has it been updated from«Not yet shipped» on Google Checkout. I calculated the time my order should have arrived, and then recalculated it after your previous email. I have been really patient and understanding about your illness and my order being delayed. You can imagine my concern when I looked at your website on the 18th and saw a note saying you were taking the week off. However, I thought I would give you the benefit of the doubt that you were able to send my package by Monday morning and just forgot to update Google Checkout. And if not, a notification email or call would be coming to give me the status. To say the least, I was disappointed when I checked my mail box on Saturday with no package. As a customer I appreciate it when businesses communicate with me about my order, or events that may affect my order. In my opinion, if you were sick, you should just send a quick, straight to the point email to your customers when you were started to see symptoms coming on. I feel so uncomfortable sending emails on the weekly basis to any business asking about my order. I understand my order isn’t priority, and that the owners/staff of the business are multitasking. Sometimes things fall through the cracks, but at least have the courtesy to let me know what is going on. There is something in that package for my mom and my best friend, however, if you are unable to send it by tomorrow — what are my options about getting a refund? I did eventually receive the package, and unfortunately I would’ve preferred getting my money back. The red velvet chocolate balls were flavorless. I just like to point out that I also used a groupon for this order, and sent them an email.

Just say no. I’m from Oklahoma originally and thought this might make a great Christmas gift for the family when I went home for the holidays. I placed my order online and received conformation that it would be sent to my mom’s house just in time for the holidays. I placed my order on December 17th and nothing. Notta, no email, no phone call, no order. I had purchased a Groupon for the order so it was only $ 10 plus my credit card was charged $ 5.00 shipping and handling. I still haven’t heard anything from the owner of this company and I have called, and called, and called. I finally called Groupon and filed a complaint to get my money back and sent in a fraud alert to my credit card since I’ve been charged for something I’ve yet to receive. Still haven’t gotten a call back or an email. This has to be some sort of scam. Stay away, far, far, away. What legit business owner doesn’t contact the customer personally when things go wrong? Groupon says they will refund my money but it might be a fight to get my $ 5 back from Master Card. We’ll see I guess, it’s only $ 5 but still I don’t have anything to show for it but a lot of wasted time.
