Econo Lodge Inn & Suites Near Bricktown

Wouldn’t recommend this hotel if you have a family. We stayed a night and cancelled our other nights. Room had damage to it and holes in wall. Light bulbs were missing.
Was a great place to stay if you want to get videoed on cops, with the drug deals going on while our stay. I now have met many of the OKC police officers that work the East side of OKC.
I could deal with a lot of the problems if the hotel was safe but it is not in my opinion.

It was the most horrible disgusting room we have ever been in. Upon walking in, it smelled so awful that my husbands eyes began to water and my children started coughing (definitely not exaggerating). The couch was ripped and my mom was afraid to even sit on it. The restroom light was only lit over the shower area so it was dim. I don’t even want to give it one star! We ended up going to another hotel that was much nicer. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone!

I came to OKC a few months ago for a quick visit. Having previously lived in OKC, I knew this location but didn’t realize there was a hotel here. Anyway, I found it online and it was cheap… which is what I wanted.
It’s an older building and looks a little shady on the outside. The room was actually quite nice. It appeared to have been renovated recently. I mean, it’s not a 5 star hotel or anything… but was alright. I did however have quite a gap under the front door where the floor must have shifted or something as I could see quite a bit of daylight coming through.
Would I stay here again on my next visit… maybe. I’d probably look to find something else… but this place wouldn’t necessarily be a LAST resort.

The rooms are clean, and I’m finding it to be very quiet as well. I have stayed here for three nights now and I’ve been very comfortable. Free Wi-​Fi is a big plus, and some exercise equipment.
The free breakfast wasn’t much. Basically you could have a waffle, or some raisin bran and milk. I miss having eggs or sausage or bacon.
Still, for the money, it’s a good place to stay it’s been quiet and clean. I give it four stars for the overall value.

The worst place ever stayd. The room was stinky even it says it was non smoking room but actually it had ash tray in the room. Bed with shits and pillows was dirty and not fresh. Bed buds!!! Bloody spots on the mattres and shits. Breakfast was poor: just serial and wafles. Body was itchy all day long. We should ask for refund!!!

Very clean and recently renovated room, bed was very comfortable too. We were just passing through on our road trip and got much needed good nights sleep here. Staff was also friendly, would definitely stay here again.

This is your basic hotel but I felt it deserved a review because, as old as it is… it is SUPER clean! We paid only $ 77 for a night. I was worried that for the location being that close to downtown, and it being that cheap, that it was going to be a pretty gross place. NOT AT ALL! The front desk was super nice and the rooms (although basic) were clean and comfortable. I was very happy with what we got for the money we spent (and it was a Saturday night after an OU game). If you are on a budget and want to be near downtown… this is your spot.
Note: You would need to take a cab to Bricktown. Although it is «near» it is not really walking distance. It cost us $ 7 for a cab.

I didn’t necessarily have a problem with the room or management. The man at the desk was very nice when I came in… however, it is advertised on the ChoiceHotels site as «near bricktown» and that is misleading. It’s about two miles away down a stretch of industrial businesses.

Decent rooms, the room heater could be stronger.
