The ribs were good… but not great. When I eat ribs, at a place called Earl’s Rib Palace, I expect the meat to be «falling off the bone» tender, and these were not. I had to attack the bone with my teeth… am I expecting too much? Overall, the restaurant is in a great location, it was clean, the staff are friendly, and it didn’t take long at all for them to serve me. The food WAS good(the sides especially, curly fries and coleslaw), the BBQ sauce was amazing, and the dry rub FLAVOR of the ribs was very good(it just was not tender enough). I would recommend this place… just not for the ribs.

What happened to this place? Earls was once a reliably decent bbq eatery, not anymore. Hit and miss, mostly miss. Dry and flavorless ribs again this time which, sadly, will be my last.

Ordered the Big Earl sandwich with brisket and pulled pork and I thought it tasted great. I would definitely get it again and recommend it to others. Also the Deviled eggs and sweet tea are good there too.

Great brisket, and a friendly wait staff. Relatively inexpensive for the amount of food you receive, and drinks were cheap too. The one item I had that I would skip next time is the deviled eggs, they were not worth the price… all the other sides looked great.

«Let’s eat ribs!» was my friend’s response to my suggestion we get some BBQ in Bricktown. «Go to Earl’s,» said a nearby stranger, and we were off. I like the feel of the place. It seemed like a cross between a local, country diner and chain like Applebee’s. The smell of delicious food made me just about lose my mind, and I was delighted to see that the items on the menu were often sold by the pound. The gal at the counter wasn’t rude, but seemed indifferent, but the guy pouring my beer was nice and I was glad it was him who took care of us the rest of the time. Of course, I got the wings. I thought they were pretty damn good. Pretty large size, generous serving, and not breaded. The buffalo sauce was quite tasty, making me think I’d come back here in a pinch for buffalo wings. Then it happened… My friend, the one who made us go here because he wanted ribs, declared himself full with a giant, uneaten beef rib still in his plate. «May I?» I asked, curious about the dish we came here for. Oh. No. It was not good. «Yeah,» he said, when he saw my reaction, «I thought so too.» The ribs were tough, flavorless, and almost completely disappointing. The sauce was good! Real good. The meat was very far from fall-off-the-bone. Sorry, Earl’s. Maybe we got an off day when you didn’t have time to cook it right. Well, three stars for you…

Ive passed through OKC many times and passed thisBBQ spot a number of times. I thought I would give it a go… Good crowd and friendly staff. If u like bland, no salt, no taste, BBQ then this place is for you. I don’t think any of the food is made on site and it shows!!! Even the sauce is unoriginal!!! Beer is OVER priced as well. I should have listened to the reviews. I hope my lunch won’t be back to haunt me! But I suspect it will. I won’t be back.

Great food. Attentive staff. Love the okra and ribs. Delicious pork shoulder. And the burger is best burger in OKC

Got the brisket and hot link sandwich. It was great. Ranch here was good as was the sweet tea.

I enjoyed this place! The toasted bread on the sandwiches was great with the smoked meat. We also had a big earl girl salad add smoked chicken with a side of wing sauce and ranch. Best ranch I’ve ever had! Staff was very nice, good sweet tea too!

The food was great! And the service was exceptional! The food was delicious– I had the brisket with the loaded baked potato– I had to add the deviled eggs to share with the table… they were great! Enjoyed my experience at Earls!

Oklahoma barbecue rarely disappoints. We dined here right before heading to the airport because I realized… «hey, we can’t leave Oklahoma and not have bbq». Glad that thought came to mind and the action came to be because Earl’s served it up just right. I ordered a smoke turkey sandwich and the bf ordered a brisket sandwich. We left the Great State of O.K. with a jolly belly!

MUSTREAD… I walked from my hotel along the«being improved» OKC or Oklahoma City Riverwalk, and for tourist, it’s starting to come together. I had a craving for brisket and I failed to take the recent reviews to heart due to the 3.6 rating… I was wrong, sorry to you who took your time to post. My most humble apology! I strolled upon Earl’s Rib Palace on the Riverwalk. They were open so I headed in. I’m unfamiliar with the chain so asked the young male who greeted me if the brisket was good. He replied, the best. OK, so I ordered a brisket dinner plate, with 2 sides. I paid the same young man, and had a seat. The place was dead but it was early for dinner and too late for lunch so I let that slide. The same young man served me a plate of sliced brisket, coleslaw, fried Okra and a slice of Texas Toast. I popped a few Okra balls in my mouth, tasty. A good start for this meal, maybe the reviews were… Next, I took a bite of the bread, it’s was good. The slaw… oh-no…old, that’s NOT good. I grabbed their only BBQ sauce, squirting it on my plate then grabbed of piece of brisket with my fingers and immediately noticed, it was hard. So I grabbed another piece and dipped it in the sauce and took a small bite. It was nasty. Ok, two bad pieces in a row? I started un-sorting the small pile of brisket and found a piece that was separating as I picked it up. I tried the piece naked. Yuck is the word that comes to mind; poor flavor, luke-warm, very dry. I moved the pieces around and tried a few more… disgusting. I was done. I asked the huddle of employees who was in charge here, and the same young man that served me came forward. I said, «that brisket is disgusting, it’s unacceptable, you never should have served that to me». He did say«sorry» then added very quickly«oh, well I can get you some fresh brisket». WTFOVER? I stated, «you should provide fresh brisket to all your customers and not wait ’til they’re dissatisfied!» He again stated, «let me get you some fresh brisket». My replay was, «thanks no, my appetite is ruined». I then added, «I will let the world know, this restaurant is unacceptable. For you BBQ fans, AVOID Earl’s Rib Palace, 216 Johnny Bench Dr., Oklahoma City, OK73104 In closing, AVOIDAVOIDAVOID this place. You’ve been warned. Heed the advice.

A very weak place for BBQ. A big group of us ate here for lunch and got a bunch of stuff(sandwiches, ribs, pulled pork and lots of different sides). The BBQ itself was very mediocre. All the sides appear to be factory created and just heated/fried. There are def better places out there.

We ordered the rib meal set and brisket sandwich. The ribs were delicious! On the other hand, the brisket sandwich was not that good, hence the 3 star rating. There wasn’t that much meat or flavoring. You really had to put a lot of their bbq sauce in the sandwich. I did love their bbq sauce though! I enjoyed their decorations/atmosphere. They had televisions so you can watch sport games.

Earl’s Rib Palace is chained in OKC. We stopped by for lunch since we couldn’t get a seat at KD’s and the wait time was insane. Therefore, we stopped by next door to grab Earl’s. It’s an OKC fast food chain with inside and outside seating. The service was quick, staff pleasant and you would think they have their food under a heat lamp back there. We had the following: 1) Briskets — It was a large slab of meat with the outside seared. The briskets were very tender and tore apart easily. However, it was really dry and there was no moisture in it at all. There were no juices and the sauce didn’t help the cause. It didn’t taste like anything special. 2) Ribs — The ribs had a nice seared skin and seemed a bit overcooked. The meat didn’t fall off the bone as I always imagined. It was flavorless and the only thing you could really taste was the smokey flavor. Like the briskets, there was no moisture, dry and the sauces didn’t help. I expected a lot better and the only thing I enjoyed was the seared skin of the ribs. Rack Rack City, tr*ck. Overall, the food was okay. It wasn’t anything special and definitely not what I imagined about Midwest BBQ. Unfortunately, I don’t think I would be back.

The Bricktown location was decorated with Elvis memorabilia(which I love). The smell of smoke hits your nose when you walk in the door which is a good thing. The pork was melt in your mouth and the fried okra was some of the best I ever had. Large portions. The service was really good! The sweet tea is very good too.

Went here with some co-workers for lunch. I had the smokestack sandwich with curly fries, it was pretty good after you load it up with sauce. The menu says it comes with pickle and onion on the side but I only got the pickle, and I really like onion. One of the staff came around when I was almost done and asked how it was, so I asked about the missing onion and she said«it’s in the coleslaw». I wasn’t sure how to take that. I tried a rib from my friends plate and it was pretty tender but no smoke flavor so I had to add sauce. One good thing about this place is the view of the canal and bricktown. You stand in line and order and pay at the counter, you seat yourself, they bring your food to you and everything is self service. This really is the McDonald’s of BBQ. I’ve been here several time and this place is not really that good to me, only way I would go back is if someone else is buying.

Four stars for the food, one for the pet friendly, exceptional service! They brought out a huge bowl of water, loved on them so I could use the restroom and though you order at the counter, they took my order at my table and checked on us often. All of the employees were very kind and friendly! I wanted to try lots of different things. Not a problem here. I had the light portion hot link meal with fries and salad. I love that you can do add ons and that’s what I did. I added one rib and one devil egg. Perfect amount and I was glad to be able to try a variety of items. Enjoyed it all! Will stop here again when passing through on my return from CA to NC.

I stinkin’ love this place and I don’t know why this place is getting crappy reviews from other reviewers. I’ve been here twice and each time these employees have been friendly, helpful, attentive, and fun. The wait times were always reasonable even though they were packed both times and even though each server had several tables to deal with they were able to keep everyone happy. The food was so good(my mouth is watering now just thinking about it) and the prices are so reasonable too. I live in Tulsa and our comparable BBQ place is Billy Sims and I stinkin’ love that place as well. I would say they both have wonderful qualities and honestly I’d love to see an Earl’s Rib Palace pop up in Tulsa at some point since we’re developing and expanding so much over here. Again I don’t know why this place is getting crappy reviews because I love it and the location is great. I would totally recommend giving it a shot if you’re putzing around at Brick Town some time.

Visited on vacation to see the in laws. Great brisket, thoroughly smoked pink edges, some gristle. Fantastic well seasoned baked potato. Delicious sauces. No corn bread available makes me sad. Friendly southern service. Relatively fast service and seating. Could use more variance in side items. Overall a mouth watering good quick BBQ meal.
