I believe this is called Grand Cru, now? I was so happy to stumble on this place during my week in OKC. They have a terrific selection of wine, and the staff is incredibly warm, helpful & knowledgeable. My husband and I were getting tired of paying exorbitant prices for bad wine at our hotel, so I decided to go and find a bottle that we could truly enjoy. I gave the gentleman who was assisting me an assignment: Oregon Pinot Noir, 2011 or earlier, as similar to a French Bourgogne as possible, under $ 30.00. He gave me 3 choices and a strong recommendation. Let me tell you, it was fantastic. I have a litmus test when it comes to prices: I always check the price of a bottle of Veuve Clicquot. Their price was much higher than is available on the coast; *However*, their prices on domestic wines were right in line with what we often pay in California. In the end, we understand that shipping from overseas can be much more expensive so far inland, so it’s completely forgivable. I noticed their domestic stock definitely seemed to be their forte. All in all, this is a terrific find & we’ll be back when we’re in town. Thanks guys!

This place is way overpriced. Huge selections and HUGE markup. I priced out 3 beers today — one was $ 5 a bottle everywhere else, Grand Cru wanted $ 12. Another was $ 4.50, GC wanted $ 7. The last was $ 8 a bottle elsewhere, GC wanted $ 13. So if you’re into exorbitant prices, look no further.

I was first told about Grand Cru years ago when the wife and I wanted to learn about wines. The staff was always helpful in answering questions(especially when dealing with the wine newbies that we were) and making suggestions based on our conversations. Beer choices range from around the world and are available in 25oz bottles, six-packs, and cases. They use to have a pick six wall, but I didn’t see it last time I was in the store.(Admittedly, I wasn’t really looking for it.) Whiskey selections have also been great, whether I’m looking for something new to try or an old favorite. Overall, the selections have always been impressive, but what do you expect from such a massive space? As for prices, they seem comparable to other stores and my local in Yukon.(Some items will be higher and others the same price or lower. It probably equals out in the end.) I’m not usually on this side of town much, but when I am I make it a point to stop in a browse for something tasty.

This is quite big of a place, I agree, possibly the best selection in town. They know their liquor and the wine, but my oh my, beer snobs beware, everytime i need to ask about a beer is like asking a 5 year old, is like come on, atleast pretend or make something up, don’t say«um i dont order stuff, i don’t know what your talking about» ANDTHENWALKAWAYLIKETHEIR skitsofrenic, don’t get me wrong, the staff is helpful, but if you’re a beer snob and know alot about good beers, don’t bother asking anything, just look at their selection(which gets old pretty quick), pick what you want and get the hell out… lol, I can’t stand beer ignorance at a «BEERSTORE»!! DOESBILLGATESNOTKNOWWHATDLLOR .INIIS??? COMEONBEERVENDOR, LEARNYOURSTUFFANDTAKE A BITOFPRIDE! Then again this is Oklahoma, a beer snob’s worst nightmare :(.

This is THE go to spot for alcohol, beer, and wine! The place is huge, the staff is very knowledgeable and the prices are fair. I have found a few things that they don’t have, but they are more than helpful to special order it for you.
