Cedar Ridge Hospital

This place wasn’t as bad as others posted. My daughter was in adolescent unit area, she was treated very well and had few complaints. She did compliant of being bored and feeling of no privacy, but I believe that’s normal. They are very strict on what can be brought in with your child, once again it’s for the safety of your child and others. She said the food was good and the showers are private, but hard on the skin, on hot. Beds are hard and very thin pillows. She did watch a lot of TV and had a lot of interaction with staff and other kids. From a parents point of view, I give it 3 stars. They do need more worker on hand, but I was notified with every change and decisions that was going on with my child. When I left messages I received calls back pretty fast. Stuff was very friendly and helpful with all my questions. This was the first time going through something like this and it was scary to leave my daughter with them, but I felt she was going to be safe and get the help she needed.
