Big Boys Guns, Ammo & Range

I very much enjoyed my time at Big Boys. The prior review where safety was not a concern for the employees was not what I experienced. The range safety officer knew his stuff and was very observant. I brought a water bottle up with me, and he let me know that violated he rules, but he did so in a very kind way.
I brought my own handgun, which they checked before I went out on the range. We also rented a AR-​15, which I shot for the first time. The range officer also helped us figure out how to turn on the sights, which we didn’t know how to do at first. I liked that there are many lanes, and they spread out customers. I didn’t feel crowded or worried about dumb yahoos coming in and acting the fool. I felt a lot more comfortable at this range than the more popular range in OKC. I think it is definitely work the drive to mustang, even if you live in central OKC.
I also stopped by the retail part of the store because I’ve been thinking about getting a shotgun. The employee was well versed with what he had in stock and directed me to the type of gun I was looking for with ease. He wrote down the information for the guns that I liked on a card. The employees were all knowledgable and kind. They have a wide selection of handguns, rifles, and shotguns.

Attended my SDA class here. The three instructors Angie, Brian, and Tom were the best! It definitely was not a 8 hour bore fest just trying to cram information into your head. Their enthusiasm and sense of humor made for a quick and fun 8 hour class while still providing and stressing the most important information and safety topics.
The range was clean and cool inside. I didn’t feel like I was in a sauna while I was in there. Each stall had a digital distance meter for your target which made things super simple!
I will definitely be going back for more classes and range time.

Worst gun handling skills i have ever seen. Safety is no priority. We had a malfunction at the gun range and unloaded the gun. The guy at the counter proceeded to load the gun and ended up pointing a loaded gun at me and my husband while trying to clear a multination. We were shocked!

good environment, cool place. Climate control. It is a new shooting range so very clean. I love it!
