Excellent BBQ! Even the cakes are delicious. its hidden behind the 7 – 11 so we had passed it the first time and had to turn around. The place smelled wonderful and the owner greeted us with a big smile as soon as we entered. We all ordered something different from the menu so we could sample. On the day we came his credit card machine wasn’t working so my husband ran over to the 7 – 11 to use the ATM as my son and I waited at one of the only two tables inside. It looked as though most of the patrons ordered to go. The bbq sauce is not on the meat, you can tell them if you want mild or hot and add it yourself. My sons sandwich was missing the bottom bread and it seemed to be very messy but really good. Filled me up but my husband thought the portions could have been bigger for the price.

What a great place! Firstly, the customer service is top notch. If you have ever seen House of Cards with Kevin Spacey on Netflix it’s just like that famous Dive BBQ place in D.C. Chico and Jr. are awesome people and really whip up a good plate. I had the pick two meats with Brisket and ribs. Fried Okra and potato salad on the side. Sooooo goood! Their caramel cake is CRACK!!! So amazingly good!!! Like seriously awesome!!! Must try, I never had a cake that good as I usually am not a cake guy. The food, the service and the dessert!!! Give it a shot you won’t be disappointed.

This is a locally owned business and that is apparent in the no frills location and decorations. It is all about the Q here and the owners are proud of their product which is shown by great service and attitude. The smell is fantastic and just concentrates when you walk in. The food here is made from their own recipe as it tastes different than the median standard at the interchangeable chain restaurants. I ordered a family pack for about 35 dollars, It came with two pints of sides, a slab of ribs, and a meat of choice. I picked the chopped brisket. They gave me plenty of sauce regular and hot. The hot is not very hot but adds an enjoyable spice. The meats are smokey and tender and the sides have their own distinct and pleasant flavors. The potato salad was tasty but the beans were very flavorful. My only complaint is that I like a BBQ that has a heavy bark and I did not see enough of that for me. My favorite surprise is the generous portions, For under forty bucks I fed a family of four yummy food twice. If you live in the area I would say this is a place to grab a family pack at least once a month.

We went because of the reviews. The food was not good at all. The meat was not good quality. The sides were just okay. I would not recommend this restaurant.

A friend had suggested this place after his experience, so I had to get there to try it. Location is great because it is the only bbq offering in the vicinity. Since it is great; it makes it an even better than just being a convenient offering. They only have a couple of tables, so make note if you are trying to dine in. The parking is sufficient, but there is a lot of foot traffic in the area so try not to run over anyone. They are around the corner on the north side of the gas station. The service along with the food is high quality. I was greeted immediately when entering even though he was in the middle of assisting another patron. The glorious smoker smell was all around, and tempting slices of cake occupied the counter next to the register. They have a daily special, lunch specials, and other typical bbq offerings. The lunch special comes with a meat or sandwich, one side, and a drink. I got the lunch special with rib and potato salad. The ribs were just succulent, and the cartilage was very tender too. I got the spicy sauce which was very flavorful, but the ribs didn’t need sauce. The potato salad was definitely homemade and a unique recipe I have never had. The special of the day was brisket nachos, and a few customers ordered that while I was waiting, and the order would definitely feed three people. The fresh preparations make the food worth the wait if you have one. Great work Big Boy’s

Finally a true BBQ place has arrived here in NW Oklahoma City! I tried the 2 meat plate with 2 ribs and 2 hot links. It came with 2 sides so I got the potato salad and baked beans. The ribs had the perfect hickory smoked taste and the hot links were big and very good too!!! The owner was very friendly and the place was clean. I highly recommend this place, I hope it makes it the food is excellent.

Never saw the place, went to the vet next door got out the door and the smell hit me. Had to find out where it was coming from. Stopped in to see what they had and ended up grabbing some for supper. Really good price and really good food.

It’s got that Mom & Pops aura about it. I pass by it every time I go to and from work and the wife and I decided that today we wouldn’t pass it by. Walking in, we were greeted with a no-less-than-80-degree temperature. We took a look at the menu and saw a lot of the favorite BBQ meats and sides. We ended up getting some ribs, a pulled pork sandwich, baked beans and green beans, and a hot link. All of our food came with slices of white bread – another staple. The wait time took a little longer than expected, but hearing the cooks chopping the meat reassured me that we were getting some good stuff. I must admit that the food was good overall. You can tell that actual labor went into it as opposed to the assembly-line style fooderies. I just made up that word just now. :) All in all, it was worth the stop. We will be back to continue supporting the business.
