This particular Barnes and Noble is a great bookstore! The sheer size has lots of varieties, which I like a’lot. The magazine racks are huge, lots to choose from. The Starbucks is pretty cool, there are a bunch of tables to sit down to do homework, write, or grab a coffee and talk with friends. The staff are very informative, cool things are littered all over the place, go and check it out!

Great location. Conveniently located of Memorial and May on the north side the John Kilpatrick Turnpike. Parking is abundant as its located among restaurants, bank and hotels. Upon entering, it’s easy to see where all the various sections are located due to all the easily readable signs above each sections. My children love the children’s book section and the books are arranged by age groups. They also have Starbucks located inside so you can pick up a nice hot coffee while looking for your books. Also, there are 2 sections with children’s toys and a music section in the back. Bargain book sections are a nice place to pick up a good, but affordable books.

I’m giving all five stars to the Children’s section at B&N Quail Springs, in particular, an employee named Chuck. Sure the Starbucks there is solid, as is the Nook section and book selection, but Chuck is the shining star in this location. I came to B&N Saturday to shop for 5 kids of different ages for everything from a keepsake book for my son’s birthday party to an adoption ‘shower’ for a two year old adopted from China. I also had my sleepy 11 month old in a stroller as I wandered aimlessly through the aisles. Chuck helped me locate and decide what I needed– he knows his stuff in that section to say the least! The book he recommended for the 2 year old was passed around the shower and several people wrote down the title to buy it as a gift in the future, so I’d say his choice was a hit! After making our purchases, we happily returned to the Children’s section for the 11am Storytime and I am so glad we did. After being a little let down for driving all the way to the May Ave store for one solitary story, I was interested to see how this one went. Fortunately, it was our new friend Chuck, armed with several stories that he chose from based on the attendees. We had everything from infant twins to 6 – 7 year olds, and he chose perfectly for the group. He even used different voices for different characters, much to everyone’s delight. I only wish I could’ve stayed longer, but we had to leave to get to the shower. We will certainly be back for storytime, but I will also be making this my go-to for finding gifts for the kiddos in my life.
