Access Medical Centers

It’s been one week since making a reservation online and being seen by the doctor exactly on time as reserved for a cold I came down with just before the 4^th of July weekend. Gave me anti biotic plus a steroid to get me in top shape for all the festivities. I feel great, cough is really breaking up now and getting better every day instead of dragging on and on! MY NEW GO TO URGENT CARE CLINIC WGEN MY DOCTOR ISNT AVAILABLE. LOVE THIS PLACE!

**NOTE: since this review i have been asked if I received bad service at both locations– my 1 star review is a reflection of the most RECENT service I received, not the older/​best service, and any other questions can be answered by actually reading this review not just looking at the star rating. I cannot gauge how seriously other Oklahomans value their personal medical treatment.**
I have been to two different locations and received two very different types of treatment that were like night and day.
I broke my foot over a year ago and went to the Rockwell location and was given prompt service with great bedside manner, and all the necessary tests done. I could not thank them enough. (something must have changed for what happened to these facilities later or they vary greatly by location)
After coughing up blood for over a week and could not get into my primary care doc located in another city, went into the NW Expressway location, mentioned that I thought it was allergies at first before it lasted so long and turned out to have additional/​worsening symptoms, a nurse practitioner who looked as if she cared more about her makeup than anything else spent 5 minutes with me and parroted back «it’s just really bad allergies» and sent me on my way. WTF?!? no tests? no nothing? I have good insurance and i was the ONLY person waiting? why did you not feel like doing any actual WORK (this thing for which you were trained?) on the day I came in to see you? I still feel incredibly sick and one of the things I was suggested to take on my discharge papers has an interaction with my disclosed medications/​pre-​existing conditions. Now I don’t know if i should be speaking with another doctor first or an attorney.
Followup– went to ER about my «it’s just allergies» — was told it was not just allergies. ugh. was given antibiotics and a much better bedside manner.

Very nice office. Didn’t get a chance to partake in the free Keurig coffee. Office staff is a touch on the unprofessional side… heard foul language coming thru the open receptionist window and I don’t think that’s appropriate when there are children in the waiting area.

This was the worse experience. I do not advise taking anyone here. I took my mother there for a SIMPLE skin infection from an insect bite, hoping to get oral antibiotics. The «provider» came in and never introduced herself. Never touched or examined her. Punted her to the ER for NO REASON. We went to the ER and received oral antibiotics – not a CT scan or IV antibiotics like the NP said! My mother now has to pay extra money for incompetent Nurse Practitioners at this facility. I have talked to others that have experienced this same incompetence. This place is a waste of time. The ERs are also aware of their incompetence.
