Real Italian pizza made by real Italians!!! This is the real deal. If you’re looking for greasy pizza loaded with fake, greasy cheese, go to a crappy pizza chain. I ordered Antonio’s favorite pizza and it was delicious with fresh, original ingredients. The mozzarella is fresh which means it’s the real white kind. The sauce is delicious. And the toppings are fresh and great. I also recently had a focaccia panini and it was also delicious with fresh ingredients. My new favorite in Cicero and I’m sorry that I haven’t been there sooner.

This pizza is eerily reminiscent of Gino & Joe’s, which used to be at the same location. Weird. Anyway, I can dig it! I never tried it, so when I called and asked him to describe it, he said NY style, and frankly to me this ain’t NY style, it’s still really good. But the crust is way too thick to be considered NY style in my book. The crust is what other states CALLNY style, but really it’s not. Thats said, the dough was fresh and airy, the sauce was lip-smacking sweet, lots of gooey fresh cheese… I dig it. I add a tad of garlic-salt and it makes my tummy happy. The wings were good too, kinda wimpy in size, but they were crispy and tasty. Delivery kid was friendly too. I recommend this place. Oh yeah, bonus– when I called, dude had a straight-off-the-boat Italian accent. Dassa gooda peetsa.

Whenever I go to a pizza place for the first time, I always order cautiously by sticking with plain cheese slices. While I had been craving pizza for some time, I gave in and pulled into Sapori. I did so entirely unplanned and, in fact, I had intended to go elsewhere a few miles down the road. My pizza lust got the best of me and since Sapori was closer, this is how I arrived here. I violated my Rule #1 of pizza club: I ordered slices with loads of toppings for a first time experience… a meat lovers and a chicken bacon ranch. They looked decent while on display behind the glass and the folks who worked there were polite. After my slices were reheated, I sampled the meat lovers(pepperoni, sausage, bacon, ham and who knows what else) slice. Crust was decent but shy of flavor while I was largely overwhelmed by the salty, spicy flavors of the meats. I saw cheese and sauce but, could not really taste any. Overall, this slice was very dry and probably was well past its prime by the time I ordered it. Like wise for the chicken bacon ranch slice. Dry, very dry and worse yet, the fried, breaded chunks of chicken had that greasy, old flavor that re-heated fried chicken acquires. The bacon was too crisp and on the verge of being burnt. The flavor of the ranch dressing was missing in action. This crust was noticeably thinner than the first slice and also had little to no flavor. Perhaps if both slices were fresher, they might have been better, however, the business owner should have the good sense to dispose of pizza that is well past its prime and not try to sell it to paying customers. The cost of tossing a few old slices could have gained the business a new repeat customer. Overall, disappointing yet motivating. I am motivated to eat pizza elsewhere.

Remarkably good pizza for 315 area code. Having grown up eating NYC-area pizza, that’s a big statement to make. Still, it was quite tasty and this joint deserves the recognition.

We have tried several different items from here and have not been disapointed. Our favorite pizza to get is the Sapori pizza and adding buffalo chicken to it makes it amazing.

Definitely some of the better pizza in the area. The crust is very thin and crispy so there is a nice snap when you fold it. I had a sausage and mushroom pizza. The sauce was actually really good, not too sweet and very fresh tasting. The sausage was pretty good; not overly spicy and not greasy at all. As for the mushrooms.. . they were fresh which about says it all. Why any pizza place would ever buy caned mushrooms is beyond me; fresh ones are a thousand times better. All in all a great option in Syracuse where good pizza is pretty tough to find.

This review is only based on me just happening to be driving by and having the urge for a slice of pizza. I’ve been meaning to stop here but just haven’t had the chance until today. The lunch selection of slices was ok. I was hoping for mushroom but none was there so I opted for just a cheese slice and honestly it was pretty good. The sauce was a bit sweet for me but that’s just a personal preference. The dough was good for a reheated slice and it could hav been heated a bit more but hey it was good and I’ll def order from here in the future. The place appeared pretty clean too. Overall much better than the last pizza joint that was there Just ordered a mushroom and sausage and it was pretty good. Fresh mushrooms is a very good thing so much better than the canned ones most place have. The sauce is very good and not too sweet. The crust was ok

I’m so glad this place opened and I’m surprised I’m the first person to review it. My family is eating the«grandma» pizza and we are all impressed. Keep up the good work!
