Really good salsa. Is definetely on the hot side but really good flavor to it. I like it so much I wanna eat it by the spoonfull. Im Mexican so hot sauce doesnt really bother me all that much. I can eat jalapenos like candy. Just saying… approach with caution. I like the fact that they have tortillas hechas a mano rather than store bought ones. Really good ones also. Im going to start coming in more often. Today I tried the pork ribs in green salsa. Delicious!!! I cleaned my plate with these tortillas. Dayum!!! My waitress Alina was nice and very attentive. She recommended I try the ribs and Im glad I did. So, guess Im gonna keep taking her recommendations. Totally recommending Los Metates. Almost forgot to mention prices are very reasonable.

Authentic mexican restaurant as far as how it looks from the outside. The menu was nothing special. Had what’s expected from a Mexican restaurant. I’ve been there before and had a bad experience, so I thought to give it another chance. WORST Experience in my life. Our server was polite, but the service was horrible. No etiquette. I asked about a certain item and ordered something else. She brought both plates. No napkins. No Water. We ordered ceviche as an appetizer and it was warm. The food had no flavor! No spice! No Taste! When we finally got napkins it was only 3. I complained about the sauce, so they brought another one made with avocado and charged me $ 3 of which I was unaware until the bill came. 3 plates and 2 round of beers $ 70. Worst money I ever spent. And left with a sense of being took.

Nice out of the way Mexican restaurant & rather authentic as well. The complimentary chips & green salsa were a treat as well. The nacho platter was great. The Enchiladas rojas with cheese was pretty good too. A bonus, Which seems to have disappeared at many restaurants. They also sell candy, Even though it’s the Real McCoy from the old country. But nevertheless, An absolute treat. Even though I didn’t purchase any of their candy, The last time around. But probably will the next time I plan on coming to this place.
