My husband and I were never told about their 5 $ per item per day storage fee. When we approached the manager about this issue, she insinuated that my husband and I were lying. It did not matter that my husband played back the exact voicemail from an employee(who conveniently didn’t work there anymore). Nowhere in the message was a storage fee communicated. The business that we ordered our furniture from was able to haggle them down from a $ 500 fee to $ 100. Mind you, the total of our purchase was $ 242. The manager refused to apologize and own up to their major error. I told her that the way they do business was going to come back to bite them. To which she replied, «we’ve been telling the owner this but if he wants to run this place into the ground, he can.» Really great employee… We left the place $ 100 poorer(and I was in tears) only to get home and realize THEYGAVEUSTHEWRONGORDER! I have 8 bar stools that aren’t even mine! So we’re out $ 100 storage fee, $ 50 for a rental truck, and I’m supposed to go back?! The saga is still ongoing. I’ll update with how they handle THIS debacle. Disorganized, finger pointing, rude, awful customer service.
