Greasy tex-mex food. The inside is clean and their staff is super helpful. The food is like every other ‘hole in the wall’ place in South Texas with probably more grease.

Awesome attention to customers. Great service and the food is in large portions. I will be back! Don’t confuse this nice restaurant with the bad one on fm3009. They are not affiliated.

I eat here a few times a month sometimes just me and the wife other times it’s the whole family. The food is always good and the wait staff is fast and curteous and friendly. I’d recommend the fajita nachos and the queso but you can’t go wrong with any of your menu choices. Another great thing is they’re never super busy so finding that perfect spot is easy. Restrooms are generally clean and sanitary as well. Overall I haven’t ever had a bad experience here and their low prices and good food keep me and the family coming back. I give it 4 stars because nobody’s perfect but it is a 5 star cheap place to eat.

No sure what everyone’s negativity is. I eat breakfast tacos almost every day & these are pretty tasty. Big plus for the area is they have a drive-thru. I’ve eaten at a lot of Mex restaurants & rate this one better than most rating here.

We visited for the first time on a Friday evening. Most of the tables were occupied. I had the Mexican steak with jalapenos, the hubs had a chimichanga with carne asada, and the boy had chicken nuggets and fries. Not bad. My meal was pretty good. The warm corn tortilla it was served with was tasty. The steak with the fresh jalapenos also good. My husband’s chimi was drowned in a cheese sauce. In the menu picture it is just drizzled. That was a bit of a downer. It kind of looked like a mistake because the cheese sauce was literally spilling over the edge of the hub’s plate. The boy’s nuggets were tasty. They honestly reminded us of McDonald’s chicken nuggets which earned a thumbs up from the boy. The food took a bit to come out, but the service was super attentive. Overall, not a bad spot. I do wish they had tamales on their menu.

Tried the breakfast tacos today. They were terrible. This was the last time I’ll eat here, this place is just awful.

A lot of food for the money! We can never finish our plates! The big giant burrito was awesome! The fajitas and nachos were great also! Breakfast tacos were cooked to order. We have never had any issue with bad food or bad service. Try it. We were not disappointed and would recommend this restaurant!

This place has potential if only fresh, high quality ingredients were used. Lard should not be considered a spice. I feel like this place is an opportunity missed. The staff are not friendly. The waitress tried, but English is difficult for her. All in all a disappointing experience. The food is bland and chewy. Velveeta is used instead of cheese. Canned and prepared food is heated and sent out to customers. Unappetizing.

On a follow up visit, I have decided to up my rating to 4. I got a chiccharon and egg taco for only $ 1.39 and found it absolutely delicious. It was authentic Mexican; the chiccharon was not crunched up pork skins out of a bag, they were soft, stewed pig skin in Ranchero sauce. The service in drive through was fast and friendly, and I appreciate that they have their breakfast all day long including breakfast tacos. I was excited to see someone occupy the old Cielto Station building, but that excitement has been dampened and brought me back to reality. This place sucks. You wouldn’t know it by the parking lot which is packed. But, if you hang up a sign saying Texas breakfast tacos and Jalisco style, the locals will pack in. They make their own tortillas but they were gummy and no better than store bought. Their chips were stale tasting and not 100% corn. It seems like they have flour in them too. The salsa with the chips looks and taste like Pace picante sauce. They also have a red and green salsa well pureed(the kind most places serve with chips) in bottles, which should have been served with the chips. My wife liked the Papas inside the tacos. I also didn’t like that on their mini tacos, they only have pastor and asada, and none of the dirty bits that real Mexican restaurants have like lengua, cabesa(cheek), and tripa. Based on those chips, tortillas, and salsa, I wouldn’t go back. I didn’t even eat, instead went to Lisa’s Taco Hut on Pat Booker rd.

Amazing Burritos! Must try. I was skeptical at first but now this is the only place I will go for Mexican food on FM78

This place just opened so I will be nice and cut them some slack while they work to improve their operations however I will point out some things they need to fix in order to become successful. 1. For«To Go» orders, give a utensil packet for each meal ordered(we only received 2 and ordered for 4 people) 2. Give more than 2 tortillas for a half-pound fajita order 3. Your Drive Through Menu has so much stuff on it that it is hard to read given the size of the sign. Breakfast Tacos were pretty good. I had the migas taco and the chilaquiles taco. I liked their migas at lot but they were quite skimpy. My wife had pancakes and eggs which were nothing special. My daughter had bean and cheese and liked them. We decided to try some non-breakfast items as well. I had the Beef Fajitas and my daughter had the cheese enchiladas and my wife had the chicken flautas. The cheese enchilada was a bit undercooked and the chicken flautas was bland with no seasoning. The beef fajitas were chewy and had very little flavor. I expect a lot of flavor from Jalisco style fajitas. They do give you lots of guacamole and lettuce and a dollop of pico. The highlight of the meal was the chips and queso. The queso is actually quite good and if you do not like very spicy queso, this one is perfect. They give you a lot of queso. In summary, for the price point this our experience shows that this was an average quality Mexican restaurant that is still working through minor operational issues from just opening. I give them 3 stars as I think their breakfast may be their draw however they will need to improve the flavor significantly on the rest of the menu to distinguish itself.
