Went in Valentine’s Day to a full house of customers and was still warmly welcomed! Often times when places are busy you get ignored until it’s your turn but that wasn’t the case here at all which was really refreshing. Very visible, I’d never been to this part of town so I wasn’t sure how accessible it would be, right in the corner, perfect! Family owned and operated and the family vibe is definitely present and I love that! I don’t know much about flowers and am new at this whole Valentine’s Day thing so AT helped me and asked me if I trusted them to create something great, I did exactly that and it was a great choice, my Valentine was very please! If you’re looking for great prices, impeccable customer service, and quality… Windy’s is your spot!

I used Windy’s Flowers for my wedding and I am so glad I did. The flowers were stunning and arranged according to my specifications. My bouquet was absolutely gorgeous and none of the flowers were wilting when it was finally time to toss the bouquet even though it had been out in the hot sun all day. Windy’s even made the leis for the males in the wedding party. Their prices were reasonable and I can’t say enough about their customer service. Instead of just «trying to make a buck,» they spoke with me about the cons of placing real flowers on my cake that none of the flower shops I visited even mentioned. I highly recommend them and will use Windy’s Flowers for all of my San Diego flower needs.

Windy’s is my absolute favorite flower shop. The quality of their products is perfect, the prices are affordable, and the customer service is phenomenal. Windy’s has been there for family weddings, my grandfather’s funeral, just because flowers for my grandma, and I love you flowers on Valentine’s Day. Thanks Windy’s for everything. Every idea I’ve ever had for either a couple flowers to a full on bouquet I’ve taken to Windys Flowers and the staff have not only produced what I wanted, but they got my exact idea to come out of it.
This is a place that you have to experience for yourself. When you walk in you’re family and they treat you that way. It definitely produces a special feeling inside you.
I personally value what they’re able to produce for me and I’ve never once been let down, they’ve always been able to come through top notch for me. This is one place I will continue to come to.

Wendy’s Flowers has made bouquets both large and small for a variety of events I have attended over the last couple years. They are stunning and WORTH EVERY PENNY.
The «Big Box» stores have flowers but they’re skimpy and die quickly. Online flower stores end up delivering rattled up flowers in a box that the person you send them to have to arrange themselves.
The good folks at Wendy’s is a long-​lasting family-​owned business by San Diego locals and take great pride in the art of flower arrangements.

I’d give them no stars but Unilocal won’t let me. If you need flowers for a dying friend DO NOT rely on Windy’s. I ordered off their website but apparently they don’t actually have any of those flowers. So, what was to be a one-​day delivery turned into four days and NOTHING. I ended up ordering from another vendor (I tried to use a local business!) but my friend was near death when they finally arrived. :(

Requested a delivery for Mother’s Day on just the day before and the flowers arrived in time to my Mom’s delight. Great service.

I came here to order a bouquet and boutonnières for my sister’s wedding. The service was great. The bouquet was GORGEOUS and much better than I expected, since I only ordered a dozen roses! The boutonnières were perfect as well! I will definitely use them in the future. Thank you!

My husband passed away last week (August 4, 2014). My cousin ordered a floral design on line and Wendy’s Florist received the order. The floral design that was delivered to my door was one the beautiful I have ever seen! The flowers were fresh and their lovely fragrance filled my house! I plan to use them if I need any floral designs in the city. Thank you for helping to ease my sadness!

When we moved here over four years ago we were told to try Wendy’s flowers. Since then we have given them all our buisness and suggested to everyone that needed flowers to shop there. We have had bad service before, but excused them as they were busy. We were given some flowers out of a garden and needed a vase. We ran in to Wendy’s and waited for 15 minutes to be waited on. We were treated so rudely. The sales lady looked at us like we were scum and replied they do not just sell empty flower vases! Then looked over us and asked to help the person behind, who just stepped in. After spending thousand of dollars with this business, I will never give them another call or recommend them to anyone else. With so many choices out there and the internet being cheaper and easier, you need to give much better customer service.

After searching and meeting various florists in the area, I last came upon this shop. I was looking for flowers for my grandmother’s funeral– something I wanted, no, needed to be just right. I was pleasantly surprised to have been greeted immediately and was given some a seat and a book to look through. Any time I had questions, someone (not just one person) had an answer. (One thing I really liked about this place– there were people there! It’s staffed all the time and I wouldn’t have to worry about the one person getting sick or something). Anyway, I was later introduced to the person who was going to arrange the flowers. She was kind, she was sincere, she now co-​owns the place and had been working for the company for 40+ years. Joy did an incredibly beautiful job on the flowers we ordered and they were very reasonably priced! (I know because I priced several places). She has a gift, for sure!
Don’t expect a fancy shop with brand new floors, new paint, or the best advertising. Expect kind, knowledgable people in a homey, roomy shop with a friendly, quiet four-​legged friend. Expect friendly, warm service. Expect gorgeous flowers without a large price tag. I would choose Windy’s every time!

We live out of state and I needed to order flowers for an uncle’s funeral. The woman I spoke with on the phone was extremely helpful and friendly, and even called the mortuary to find out what time the viewing was so that the flowers could be there on time.
The bouquet is beautiful — I posted a photo– And the family was delighted with them. I will note that they seemed a little pricey, but we do live in the Midwest and I’m sure everything is a little less expensive here. Even so, I would certainly not hesitate to order from them again.

I wanted to send flowers to to a relative in a Rehab Center in San Diego.
I called several shops within a mile of the care center, they wanted outrageous delivery charges almost more than what the flower arraignment cost $ 17.00 delivery up to a $ 50.00 dollar delivery fee. All of these flower shops are located in the 92 103 zip code. Each one of these locations were less than a mile from the Rehab Center that my relative is in.
I called Wendy’s Flowers in Chula Vista, about 2 miles from my home. With their delivery fee from Chula Vista to the 92 103 zip code area was less than the cheapest floral arraignment I could have purchased in Hillcrest.
