This place is great. I always get the Teriyaki Chicken and it tastes amazing. The food is not only great but it’s also fresh. And the staff is also friendly and inviting

The sushi is the best service just sucks the front girl doesn’t know the menu and is very ditsy. I had to return rolls because I didn’t know they had a whole separate roll known as the«tuna roll» tekka maki in Japanese also is tuna roll so I guess I’m in the wrong according to the front. The customer is always right even when wrong I know that from food service.

I ordered the crunchy roll to go, I am in love with crunchy rolls, so I’ll try them from different sushi places. the crunchy roll at this place is pretty good! the plate came with a salad which looked pretty good, the dressing however is not very good. I always eel sauce with my sushi, and they said they didn’t serve it which was a huge disappointment. the three star rating was because of the no eel sauce, and the dressing.

Okay. Unfortunately I got the vibe the place was dirty. Sorry. Tables were not cleaned and seats. and floors were absolutely dirty. Seems like they use the same cleaning spray for everything. Food though is good. Take out. Small portion. Good food though

I’ve never Unilocaled any place in my life but after my take out interaction with this place I felt the need to, I asked the lady what was popular she rolled her eyes and said a Cali roll and crunchy and I said oh ok but how about a fishy roll and she said«I don’t know the crunchy roll» I then just picked another roll and I asked her what was in it and she said«like tuna or something«with a disgusted face. I then asked her how long and she rolled her eyes again and said she didn’t know. I came back for my food she basically threw it on the counter, I asked for a side of sauce and she charged me 50 cents witch is crazy in my mind after I had bought food. She came back with the sauce and once again threw it on the table. Worst customer service I’ve ever had in my life and I got take out! I would give no stars if it was possible

Went there for the first time and ordered my food to go. Not too pricy, looked good. 2nd roll into the crunchy roll I ordered I lifted it up before I took a bite and saw a THICK black long hair EMBEDDED into my sushi roll so long that it hung out of the roll… so glad I looked before I took that bite. Called to complain and they offered a refund for that roll(which I hoped they’d do.) Don’t think I’ll be going there again but their customer service was appreciated!

If you want spicy ahi poke, this is the place to be. The spicy ahi poke is made hawaiian style. If you have shopped at Foodland in any of the islands of Hawaii, then you know what I’m talking about. The spicy chicken bento is my go to meal too.

First time eating here and very disappointed. Ordered tonkatsu for the kids. The pork is soooo hard to chew. The kids just ate the breading instead. Also aside from the cheap utensils(plastic forks, spoons and knives!) They charge for everything on the side … spicy mayo was 50 cents… The crunchies to go on top of my cali rolls are $ 1.00??? Seriously Definitely not coming back … save your

I love the udon soup here it is scrumptious! This sushi is relatively cheap and fast I love getting the green tea, not a big fan of boba though.

I didn’t want to deal with parking at Valentino’s, so I decided to try this joint out. Plastic utensils and SUPER splintered chop sticks. Yikes. $ 10.99 for 8 pieces of nigiri. 1) You get what you pay for. 2) I’m still alive, so there’s hope. 3) There are FAR better places for sushi in Eastlake. Go there instead. Clean, not the worst I’ve had, but I won’t be back. If I’m in CV, I will never cheat on Valentino’s again!

The heck to the no my brothas and sistas, this place is more glitter than gold. Ordered the spicy tuna tempura roll, spicy chicken bento box, and the miso soup. The presentation and the advertisement is great in this place. It has a bright, vivid menu marquee, the food looks the part, but it really fell short. The spicy tuna tempura roll tasted more vinegar than anything else, nuff said. The spicy chicken dish, wow, it was stew meat with a poor teriyaki type sauce, please stop. The best part was the miso soup, which was likely reconstituted, you can’t fail! This place due to the location has a few high rollers that likely eat here on the regular, I guess it’s true when you are rich everything tastes better, HAHA. Never again, love yall though!

Sushi from the mall is better than this !!! Quality is terrible, portions are mediocre and price is average. Plus they charge you extra for everything … Oh ! And my salmon had bones in it. So not ok.

My most recent visit was no way the same as the first. It’s a small place with modern décor. You order at the register and they bring your food to you, if you decide to dine in. A fast food, sushi spot if you want to call it that. Service: Pretty straight forward hi, hello and thank you. Food: I’ve only ordered their Spicy Ahi Poke Tuna Donburi and a few of their nigir’s. They used to pack the bowls with thick cuts of Ahi Poke, but I guess times are getting rough cause past visits have left the bowl a little lacking. The quality isn’t too bad though, not top quality but it’s far from gas station sushi. At times they kind of go heavy on the sesame oil with this bowl. As for their nigiri, their ahi is no different from the bowl, and their ika(cuttlefish) wasn’t what I expected. I didn’t know what to expect, but for this spot I’d pass if offered. I would still come here for a quick fix, but I’m slowly losing interest. Hopefully things pick up.

Mediocre food at average price. I wanted to fulfill my sushi craving and was around the area. I had to pick up food for papa dukes and I. I ordered the chicken teriyaki bento for papa dukes and 2 hand rolls for myself(smoked salmon and eel). Cost was less than $ 15. The 2 hand rolls were $ 2.99/ea and were cut into 4 pieces. So I had 8 pieces of sushi rolls. They were just okay. I guess papa dukes liked his food because he had a happy plate. But I wouldn’t come back if I was really craving sushi again.

We ordered Spicey Ahi Poke Bento, Sashimi combo & Spicey tuna roll The price was not bad The Ahi Poke Bento was good. The Ahi Poke was delish. the Salad was your everyday jabroni salad, the gyoza were hot and crunch and the miso was just ok. The Sashimi combo was pretty good. Presentation can be worked on. The Spciey Tuna roll was ok. All in All — it’s better than some but not five stars. Good place to call in carry out or to curb your sushi cravings! Oh, the girl working the front did not know anything about the menu. It was embarassing to ask her questions. She was trying to figure out the answers by looking at pictures on the menu.

Came here for the first time yesterday but only for take-out. It was almost empty, which kind of worried me. Service, the 2 minutes of it that we had, was decent. The place seemed clean, which is always a necessity. I had the teriyaki chicken bento: good chicken, decent portion, but no wow rice was good. had some seeds & stuff on it that I’m sure some people like. but it’s not my favorite thing salad was whatever. it looked like the salad you buy at the grocery store in a bag. with ranch on it. at least try to make it «asian» or something interesting. gyoza was the best part. nice and crunchy! decent flavor too, but i’ve had better. it also came with 2 edamame. cool. my boyfriend had the ahi poke bento, which he said was good because he LOVES poke. and this had a good amount of it. my sister had the tempura udon. this is the one of the closest sushi restaurants near my house, and i’m not even a sushi lover. so i’d probably just come back if my bf wants poke. no real big complaints, but not a big fan either.

Everyone deserves a second chance right? (Unless you’re a cheating piece of crap who ripped my heart out and stomped all over it till it stopped beating then picked it up and put it back in my chest, then screw you!) Anywayyy back to sushi, just had to vent real quick… So I decided to give Sushiman its 2nd chance. First time I ate here I had high expectations. Maybe I was just excited cuz there was a new sushi joint in Eastlake. Ate the food, wasn’t 100% satisfied. This time around I’d give them an extra star. Had the«My combo» bento. Don’t really know why its called that. Its not really«my choice» of items. But I was hungry and anything sounded good. Bento came with: Two pieces of fried fish One tempura shrimp Two edamame Two california rolls Two pieces chicken karage Miso soup I demolished it. Maybe cuz I was super hungry. But I’m always super hungry. Anyway that meal hit the spot so ill give you another star. One last thing. I know when we came in it was close to closing time, they just finished mopping and the ground was super slick. Walked right in the front door and I swear I glided right to the register. Super slip hazard!
