Terrible place. Don’t waste your money here. Very rude service and the owner woman had major attitude. The bouncer/​top security guy is a drunken jerk. don’t know how this place stays in business.

So this bar is many bars in one.
First off during football season it’s my favorite sports bar. They have the Sunday ticket, multiple tv ’ s, a large projector screen for the favorite game of the day, and $ 9 buckets of beer. The greatest thing though is a giant Bbq buffet for a $ 1 a plate. It’s the best deal in town.
The bar is also a club at nights, good music and dancing the crowd is normally black man and filipino women. Being one of the few white guys down there most of them call me «Bruce Willis» (I’m bald) and are extremely friendly and non judgmental of my dance moves.
Third the bar as a «buy me drink girl» feel If you have ever been overseas. The girls behind the bar are beautiful and super friendly. They know everyone there’s names and run around the bar to hug customers when they come in. My wife found this odd at first but then they started hugging her every time and remembered her name and now she loves the place too.
Don’t understand the low ratings this place gets. If you read the reviews they say things like «cheap drinks and good music but not my crowd» personally if I can get a cheap drink with friendly service and listen to good music at a retirement home I would give that place 4 stars. But Star Gazer is my local spot of choice.

Where do I start? It’s a neighborhood place. More like a social club for locals and regulars. The girls who work behind the bar are sexy, shapely and friendly. Drinks are reasonably priced and the cover charge is $ 5 so it won’t break your bank. The place in General is way to small for what they are trying to be. The women you’ll find? A lot of Filipino cougars due to the trophy lounge being closed and the rest who carry too many extra pounds for what they wear there. The music, good enough to get girls on the dance floor but that’s about it. Hey, if that’s your thing then do your thing there. I did my thing there once, and that will be enough for me. I’ll give them one star for the girls behind the bar.

Very nice place to relax and have a drink! Admission on weekend is very affordable: only 5 dollars!!! Staff are very nice and professional. Come see the beautiful bar tenders & cute door girl. Some of the bar tenders even make their own creative drinks! The music is very nice: straight hip hop — which I really like.

Is never in the bar. Its been under new management and has upgraded all around TVs.
Some nights are better then others like anywhere but its always open arms. They always have a big Food spread for big games and a goodplace to meet new and old ;^)

I kind of like this spot. I’ve been coming here off and on for the past two and a half years.
During the day it operates as a bar but at nighttime (around 9:00 P.M.) it turns into a club on weekends. It caters primarily to an African-​American crowd. The crowd is usually very young and can be a bit ghetto. I prefer a more older crowd but all in all I don’t mind it as long as I’m having a good time with the company that I came with.
Keep in mind that this is strictly a hip hop club, so if you don’t like hip hop and R&B-dance type songs then do not waste your time coming here. I like coming here because it reminds me of the clubs back home in the Dirty South.
On weekends this place is packed. Make sure you come before 10:00 P.M. If you don’t, you’ll be waiting in line and it can be very long. Also, parking is hard to find at that time and you may have to park on the side streets and then walk to the club.
A note to some of the ladies that come here: Your face is not a coloring book, so CHILL WITH ALL OF THE MAKEUP (Looking like the New Rainbow Brite).

I went on a Friday night to support a friend that wanted to go out and meet guys & have fun (but instead she just sat down the entire time, BOOO!!!). I’m only 25 but I felt hella old cuz all of the folks there looked like BABIES! All Black crowd with mostly 21 year olds that did the Dougie and Kat Daddy to EVERY.DAMN.SONG!
And all the DJ did was play rap music. WTF?! You can’t DANCE to rap music! Where’s the top 40 playlist? I made the best from it cuz I wanted to get my $ 10 worth. Thankfully I saw an old friend from grade school who saw my obvious body language that I rather be home than there, so she was kind enough to buy me an Adiós Motherfucker to loosen me up. It worked! I danced and showed the kids how a real G dance and made the best from it, but I’ll never go back again. NO MA’AM!

Came into Star Gazer on a Saturday night after years of passing it by. Besides a few old-​timers the place was dead with a random DJ playing music by Too Short and various other rappers. Hefeweizen was $ 7 and Bud Light outta a bottle was $ 4. Since the price of a Hefewizen in this place was pretty much the same price as a 6-​pack I decided to pass and order a Bud Light. That’s when I pulled out my debit Visa and was told there was a $ 20 minimum with an additional $ 2 fee on top of that. I asked if I could start a tab and when it got passed $ 20 I’d close out to which I was told after a long explanation no. I paid for the Bud Light, finished it, and told my 3 other friends it was time to go.
This place is a joke.

Watch out ppl… this is a RAIDER BAR and I love it for that! Tons of down to earth, PEACEFUL (no really, i’m convinced that we as a Raider Nation aren’t really THAT aggressive or crazy… i just think haters instigate Sh*t and we just finish it ;p) fun crowd.
They have flat screens along the bar area and a big screen to watch the main RAIDER game!
Prices are decent but a negative is that it gets super crowded and not enough seats, so get there early and reserve ur spot, cuz although peaceful that we are… its not much for sharing your seats or giving it up for a lady… lol.

I love dive bars and this place definitely fits that bill. It has a decent size dance floor and bar. They have your typical dive bar staff behind the bar. You have your regulars either parked at their barstools or kicking it with their friends. There’s nothing fancy going on here but this place is definitely like cheers for some people.
