Let me start off by saying that person who took my order was great. The individual who delivered my order was great so that is why they got the stars. However the product, which is the important part, that was ordered and delivered was way off.
I ordered some decomposed granite from this company, and quite a few yards i may add, but what i received was nothing compared to what the photo shows online. The natural DG photo online was a nice dark brown grainy product. What i got was a very grey fine powder nothing close to the product ordered.
In small letters on the website mentions that product may vary but this is not some small color shade difference, it was a different color and texture. The DG was installed by my landscaper so i had to deal with it.
I called and they seemed to want to help me with this issue but the discount for ordering more was a joke, a few bucks off each yard of product and i mentioned i was willing to order more. In the end i decided to go with someone else but they need to constantly update what they really offer in photos and not give small disclaimer of a possible difference.

I’m giving them two stars strictly because of their high prices and not because of their service. I called and asked for a price on a 5 gallon Glaze n Seal Lacquer concrete sealer. Their price was 349.00 per the person I spoke to on the phone. HD supply had it for 254 and The Hub in national city had it for 250.00 so did every single other place I looked at online. RCP has good customer service but so does the Hub and they are a lot cheaper! I understand prices may vary from store to store but 100 bucks difference is way to much to mark up. I tried to see if they priced match and they very boldly said no! I work in the dealer parts automotive industry so I know a thing or two on list prices, discount prices and markups. When a customer wholesale or retail shops me around and asks if I can price match 10 out of 10 times I say yes. I’m thinking about the long term affect of their business. The way I see it is do I send the customer 3 miles away to a competitor or keep his business on the long run. My uncle who is a contractor told me about the Hub that’s how I found it, his exact words where «do not go to RCP they are super expensive» and guess what, when people ask me about where to find construction supply I will be referring them to HD or the Hub in national city not RCP. They act like they are the only construction supply company in SD.

Needed one more brick so I had to go back and buy one more and when I went to pay for it they just let me have it. Great people at the front desk. Reasonable delivery prices compared to other companies.

Shopped everywhere for synthetic grass and discovered that the remnants sold at RCP are, without question, the best prices you will find.
For example… Dixie line had 5×7 (35sqft) remnant syn grass (good quality) for $ 180.
A slightly better quality syn grass from RCP was $ 220 for a 6×10 (60sqft)
Do the math… The Obvious choice is RCP

I recently built a gravity retaining wall in my backyard. I purchased all supplies from RCP block. I am very pleased with the level of customer service I received. During the planning phase I had spoken to a gentlemen on the phone named Pete who was extremely helpful, and loaded with information. The shipment arrived as promised, on time and in good condition.
