Previous review about the refereeing was pretty spot on. Especially the twin sisters who run it are garbage.

If you don’t know the referee in the leagues your team is screwed. Just saying how it is.

Just got off the phone with them and they no longer have open badminton.
Howver, Montevalle has it on Mondays:

Mondays 5:30 — 7:45

pros… found this place just yesterday, even thought it has been there for over 30 years or so. and guess what they play on mondays? yup you guessed it, badminton. so i went there and played a bit. it is a local gym where you can play badminton, volleyball, basketball and other indoor sports. don’t know when the other sports are played but i know where i will be on mondays when i don’t have class at mesa.
cons… the place is a bit old and the wooden floor is a bit slippery, and dark. the badminton lines are like used antifreeze green, not a color which stands out from the darker floor. but besides that it is playable. the lighting is a bit dim compared to other places, but i have been told that i was worse a couple of years ago. so come here and have some fun. perhaps i will see you.
