Not a huge fan. The food is pretty traditional oggi’s. It is decent Bar food. My problem was primarily with the service. They didn’t have almost any of the drinks I wanted and had to keep going back to check to see if they had the next thing I was ok trying. Also, even though it was a slow day, our service was even slower. It is not worth driving all the way to chill vista when there are much closer restaurants with just as good oggi’s food and without the poor selection that does but live up to the oggi’s menu and the very slow wait staff.

This Oggi’s location is a far cry from the excellent food and service we usually receive in Mission Valley and at SDSU(express). For a Saturday lunch it was relatively quiet, yet many advertised drinks were out of stock, there was a hair in my beer, service was slow, and the food(bbq chicken pizza and fish tacos) was a discernible notch lower than Mission Valley. It’s quite far from everything, but even if I had business in the area again I think I’d opt for In N Out.

Summary: food isn’t very good, and the cups smelled weird. This is coming from someone whose senses of taste and smell are defective. My meat pizza tasted very bland, and as I said before, the soda cups had a very weird, off-putting smell to them. This was back in December of 2015, I think around 5 pm.

As a long time Oggi’s Stuff pizza Fan. I feel I must express my dislike for the what this restaurant has become. I use to travel from Bonita to Del Mar for the signature Stuffed Pizza, Once they started to franchise this was the first to go off the menu. Then other items and the final straw was the Pot Roast Nachos. The Family atmosphere has gone by the way of corporate greed once again what was once a Premier Pizza joint has just become another chain restaurant

We have been coming here for almost a year. It was the first place we are moving into Chula Vista and it was great. HOWEVER, the last few visits have been horrible. TODAY, May 14 around 6pm, we ate at Amy’s section. We ordered right away because we know what we like. When we got our food… Instead of WALKING around the table being that we were a group of five, she had us pass food to each other. Then our drinks ran out(no refills even if we wanted them), our food was done(the table was never cleared of dishes), we wanted to-go containers(had to ask a different server beside Amy to get those), then when she FINALLY came back to our table… We asked for the check. I asked her name and she said Amy then had a different server bring us the check. It was NOT that busy where she could not take care of us the way servers should. This is not the first time it has been bad but most definitely the worse. What was perhaps the most frustrating was the attitudes of the new servers. I have never felt as unwelcome in this Oggi’s as I have recently. The past two visits(this one included) have resulted in looks of disgust and having waitresses not give you the time of day.

We’ve come in here for years now. Good pizza, burgers & beer. Crowd pleaser. The Only thing is that the last several times it feels way understaffed. Today, the bartender was waiting on bar tables… Nobody was there to greet us when we came in, we waited for almost 15 min to have someone acknowledge us which never happened. I finally saw hostess and got up and asked for 3 menus and for her to send someone to take our order. It took another 10 min easily for someone to come by! Food took what felt an immense amount of time. They brought food and all was great tasting but then try the get the bill… Another challenge. No one near to flag over… more time waiting… We Finally get the bill and she again disappears! Hubby gets up, stands at the bar to hand bill to bartender… Sad to Say, I believe this is our last visit. Way understaffed and it feels like a pattern now. Bye Oggi’s

Terrible. Just terrible. Food order was wrong and cold. Our waitress, Amanda, never came back after she took our food order. My fiancée had to go to the bar to get us another drink. Finally we asked for a manager. We got Christian who said he was the bar manager. He had an attitude! Gave excuses as to why things were wrong. Won’t go back. Ever.

I walked in one day trying to be sat with my boyfriend and dog on the patio. I waited at the hostess stand for about 10 minutes with no help at all. I made eye contact with a male server and he still didn’t come up to ask if I’ve been helped. At that point, I turned around and walked out the door.

Very good location, close to my friends home in Eastlake. Different and cozy. Some comment from Steven T makes me wonder if he was the same fool in next booth with the decline credit card that ran off…

Not sure what happened to this place… We used to love coming here but, I guess it’s under new management and it has shifted drastically. The area where the video games are is horrendously filthy. This is where Oggi’s has designated for your children… I’ll attach pictures if I can. It seems like they are short staffed. Or maybe the servers don’t like being servers? I am not asking to be treated like the King of England; just like a customer. That means being attentive. Anyway, we ate all the pizza. 6 people. But, like I said, something changed because it wasn’t as great as before…

Ordered a large cheese pizza and honestly I wish we would have gone to Denny’s instead ! The dough has no flavor what so ever, and over all the pizza ha son flavor… Little Caesars makes a better pizza and that is saying a lot. This my 2nd time eating here and my first time getting pizza, both times the food was underwhelming.

Great place to watch football on a Sunday — they had all the games on and somehow you could hear the audio for whichever game you were watching. I was there for Green Bay and there lots of fans. Good was good — both my friend and I had pasta. But they had all the usual bar food items plus pizza. M I gave it three stars because the service was really slow. We also asked for chicken with a dish that they forgot. And the coffee was lukewarm.

Service is slow as molasses. Been here a few times and I always expect that it will be different. I blame myself for making this mistake again. My table of 4 was seated at 6:00 and we’re leaving at 7:51.

We’ve gone to this Oggies tons of times. It’s a great sports bar in eastlake/Chula Vista. It was our go to for sports games before another eatery/bar came into town. Anyways they have a good happy hour, good lunch specials and a monthly pizza deal(last time I was there). In addition they are local business and five back to the community.(Fundraisers and sponsorships). We’ve had a range of service but overall I’d say it’s ok/average. There’s one lady work works in the bar area that hussles and is real friendly and has been there for a few years. She’s great don’t know her name though. My husband loves the Oggie sticks, which were on the Hh menu last time we went. Overall, I say good food and we should all support local businesses.

Good food. Good service. All the sports on tv you could want to watch. What’s not to like? It’s noisy though as most sports bar type restaurants so if you want a conversation sit in the dining room

Having experienced and enjoyed the Mission Valley location, I had high hopes for this location because it’s just down the street from our house. I couldn’t have been more disappointed. Upon entering here the other night, getting hit in the face with heat set a really bad tone for me. We should’ve sat outside, because it was cooler outside, where it was 80 degrees at sunset. How this place can keep people from leaving as soon as you walk in is beyond me. and it certainly isn’t the food. I ordered a burger, which was bland and dry. It was supposed to be medium. It wasn’t. The fries were decent. The hubs liked his chicken parm sandwich just fine, but his onion rings were under-cooked. On the plus side, Oggi’s beer is really good. It deserves better food to go with it. Our server was pleasant, but didn’t know what a ciabatta was. If it’s on the menu, she should know what it is, especially if it’s something as simple as bread. This Oggi’s has potential if management is willing to make improvements. The setup of the restaurant is great. It reminds me of my favorite sports bar back home. But you’ve GOT to have A/C when it’s hot outside. Fans almost 20 feet up aren’t cutting it. And, like I said, the beer is really good. Do something about the quality of food. I know, it’s a bar, but even bars can have good food if the right people are in the kitchen. The hubs and I love sports and sports bars. Make improvements and we’d spend a lot of time — and money — here.

The service here has never been great. Today I went because for some odd reason my daughter liked their pizza and has been asking me to take her for the longest time. We sat at the bar tables, and summarizing, he took forever to bring my daughters’ lemonades. When I asked him about them he made this«OMG I forgot» face. Ugh. The place was dead. Maybe 5 tables for two people. Kids pizza was oversaturated with sauce. Kids grilled chicken was EXTREMELY dry and terribly bland… We had to return it.(And waited approx 15 more minutes for a replacement kids pizza, which was served in a crazily hot plate because DUH’ it was waiting on the kitchen warmer for the longest time. My soup was ok, not great, not horrible. ~ L A M E L A M E I am thankful that my daughter no longer treasures the place after today.

The pizza crust is worth the trip. Service is not bad unless your at the bar. I’ve sat down and waited 10minutes just to be seen with the bartender on their cell phone. If Sarah is working she is very good. They have a good beer selection though once you get served. It’s the best place in EastLake to come and watch the game normally. However I did try to come and watch the NCAA National Title Game but it wasn’t on because it was starting night for the Padres?! Seriously?!

Pizza is bland, beer is great. Staff is good depending who waits on you. In other words if you want delicious pizza this isn’t the place to go. If you want a good family place this place is nice. And you can watch your sports and have a nice beer in draft.

Skip the gym and go here. There’s no AC and you will drop pounds from sweating and not getting your food. Send your enemies here when it is busy. In all seriousness: We are locals. We support local business. We waited forever for drinks. At some point we started ordering two at a time. Food was actually very good. But it took 40 minutes to get anything. Another 20 for a salad that was forgotten. Another 20 for Oggis sticks. All ordered at one time. Extremely under staffed. Our waitress was very sweet. We came here to watch Bonita little league and chargers preseason. Bummed out it sucks.
