Needle Maniaks Tattoo

My wife’s mom recently passed away and she wanted a tattoo to always remember her by. After seeing the tattoo and cleaning it up after she got home, parts of it weren’t drawn completely, including marks that were not part of the tattoo that are permanent because he started falling asleep because people were getting high in the shop, at which point he probably was a little high as well or just sleepy. She is going to another shop to get it touched up. All she wanted was a good experience getting it done In remembrance of her mom. Surprisingly she didn’t have to fill out any paperwork before she had it done.

Jr has been doing my tats for many years now. I will only let Jr do my tats. Ive been in many tat shops over the years but where ever Jr goes i’ll be there. This man put passion in his art and it shows. Well rounded in many styles and always SUPER PROFESSIONAL.

Although all the bad mouthing. ive heard about here me personally… i love it here. My husband got tatted my scooby and his clown was.fuckn.bad ass. Yeah they take a little long but me personally i think its better for someone to take their
.their best. The thing.i.also liked was that my kids were welcomed.there. i had to go to work and my husband had to take the kids in with him… they had my kids in the back room. watching a movie and coloring. Where most majority of tattoo shops dont even want kids around. Right here feels more family orientated. Gonna

A couple months ago i came home to find my 16 year old son with a his whole forearm coverd up with tattoos. I went through his facebook messages and saw the directions to this tattoo shop and his artist was bear hustle, now im spending thousands of dollars trying to remove it, also the work is horrible! The lettering you cant even read and he got some japanese letters that some are chinese and doesnt even know what they mean! The worst part, he came home drunk that night and also the artist was aware of his age. They will here from me and my lawyer soon!

This spot is great. As soon as I walked in I was greeted with respect. Not like other places that dont even notice you when u walk in. But jessie was the artist that greeted me and gave me an estimate. And I have to say this guy has some good work. I was definitely nervous of choosing a spot to get my tattoo done but this place caught my eye. Real clean, professional, and respectful place. There was nothing but good vibes in that place. I was even 30 mins late due to work and jessie still took care of me. When my tattoo was finish I have to say hands down to jessie. He detailed my tattoo so well that everywhere I go im getting good complements. This is my new spot for tattoos and im definitely be coming back. Thx to Jessie and the crew for the love.

This is my second review and just simply recommend this place. All my tattoos so far have been done at this place by Jesse except for the sunflower which was done by the owner I would not go to any other place. Everyone who sees my tattoos love them they are professional and creative also I go in tell Jesse and idea and he makes it a million time better. I recommend this place to all my family and friends too!

Came to fix a tattoo, Jesse was very professional and knows what he’s doing. I love my new tattoo! I will definitely be coming to Needle Maniaks Tattoo again.

Before I posted this review I did speak to the manage Jessie about my concerns about the appearance of my tattoo and he did agree to fix it even thow he didnt originally do the tattoo and he let the person go whivh was the right thing to do. My frustration came when I tryed to reach out to him about coming in and getting it fixed and called and my calls weren’t returned for what ever reason and I spoke to some friends about the situation because I was really upset and they suggested I write the review over the next few days I was able to get in contact with him and he asked me to come in so I did to my surprised Jessie proceeded to tell me that i was bad mouthing him and that he wasn’t going to fix it because of my review. I was being as honest as possible he didn’t change my opinion about anything by refusing to make it right he managing this place he should make sure his customers are happy. I writing this only to correct some facts from my last review just keep this in mind when your selecting a place to go tattoos are permanent and once there on you cant wipe them off. My advise would be to this shop if you don’t want people to complain then do the job right the first and don’t make promises to fix something and then back out of it. This is no way to run or operate a business keep your commitments. Now I’ve had even a worse experience with this place people do your research.

The place is great and it has a good vibe. The place is clean and professional. Staff is very friendly and knows what theyre doing. I Definitely recommend this place.

set up an appointment for 12pm today, show up on time and get a call at 1 to say ill be their in an hour, how unprofessional and irresponsible makes you wonder how they function in any setting.
This place is not professional at all especially when they are doing something permanent as a tattoo. My fiancé was tattooed by guy very young who the owner JR had him do my fiances tattoo when he started the tattoo a lion on my man fiances chest he kept eyeballing a girl in the shop and asking her for her number and when are they going out looking at her azz and sitting her next to him while tattooing my man. the lion looked ok when it was all swollen but 2 days later we noticed lines were not straight one eye was shaded they other wast. HORRIBLE job, My fiancé went to the owner Listo to show him and he said that it did not look good and he would have to do it all over again no charge. Well my fiancé called for weeks and never was able to book an appointment and never got called back. i had to tell my cousins t hat want the same tattoo as mine that he wont be doing it because he could not even follow through fixing a mistake and act professional not like little cholos from the street… I was very mad to know they didnt make an attempt to call, DO NOT COME TO THIS PLACE, unless you want to be surrounded by groupies and dudes with ankle bracelets. Listo is a good artist but needs improvement on his other workers and on his professional skills. We went back numerous times to see if the owner would fess up and say it was a bad tattoo instead he said the guys hasn’t been doing this for a long time so he didn’t do so well. Would you want that when you come here and see if maybe someone will do a good job, DO NOT COME TO THIS PLACE AT ALL unless you want a bad tattoo or you want to make an appointment with someone who is not at the damn shop.

I was referred to this place by my neighbor. Listo aka Jr is the owner and he does AMAZING work. I’m form North San Diego so I wasn’t too sure about this place when I heard it was in Chula Vista. But once Listo started working on my fiancé sleeve it was leaving everyone speechless. So I decided to have him work on my tattoo which takes up a good portion of my arm. He really enjoys his career as a tattoo artist and you can see his skills and dedication through his work. I originally had Toonz do my tattoo of two orchids it came out looking pretty good but it didn’t have the «WOW» factor. Jr ended up adding a couple details to it and I get compliments everywhere I go. Nice clean shop and good atmosphere. I would recommend this place.
