I booked, My Cup Of Tea for a baby shower and was so happy, I did! Janet and her staff were amazing and extremely helpful. The mommy to be and guest, were all in LOVE with the store and the setup for the tea party. The food was great and the tea was delicious. Thank you, again Janet for such a wonderful time.

We were here for a Tea Party for a coworkers birthday. The party consisted of having the store set up for you to sit down with your friends wearing big hats and drinking tea. I personally thought it was super cute to have the owner of the store(older lady) running the event. She was clearly really passionate and knowledgeable about tea. The tea itself was really good and I enjoyed the scones. The setting was a little tight and I was scared that we would break something, but everyone in my party had a lot of fun looking at the stuff that was being sold. Now my crew was a bit distracted when the lady would tell the history of tea and such; I felt bad for the host, but my friend were right, we were there to talk amongst each other. Overall I had fun and I was transported to a different time and place, I think.

Really great tea selection and always friendly customer service; they also know how to whip up a good pot of tea. The only thing that I dislike about the place is the décor– too kitschy for my liking.

Be sure to ask about prices before you sit down. If you want just a small scone with tea to enjoy the experience but way over priced for $ 15 lunch that included a sandwich my 7 year old son could make, out of the can room temperature soup, the scones were probably the best thing. The tea could have been heated a little more than it was. The owner was a sweet delightful woman but I will not be returning in the future.

Very affordable, you can get tea and a scone for about $ 5 this is great for afternoon tea, especially if you want to go often. Lots of options for tea, I tried the peach rooibos and liked it a lot. Very cute setting. I took my niece there and she enjoyed it. The place is very small which makes it feel cozy. I’ve been to other tea places and they are larger and have more selections but are also very expensive, this is great for a neighborhood tea room.

This is the best kept secret. We had a fun bachlorette party from a baby girl to great grandma and everyone in between. We played with hats and boas. Such fun to be a girl! Oh, and let’s not forget about the teas, scones, and desserts — all wonderful! Now, my teen daughter is bringing her best friend here for a quiet and memorable birthday celebration. A really great place.

Excellent tea and scones, great selection of teas… lemon curd… yummy. They have a dress up section with hats, boas and purses that little girls will just love.

I work down the street and have taken to walking in here on my lunch break for some advice and some new teas. The owner is very knowledgeable about teas, which makes it fun to talk to her. I love the variety and the prices are great. My journey into loose leaf teas has been greatly supported by this shop.

I would definitely recommend this tea shop as it has a wide variety of loose teas, e.g., yerba mate, jasmine green tea, white tea, and black teas. Staff is very friendly and is very knowledgeable of the different kinds of teas. The place has many tables to accommodate you and your friends for a get-together to drink tea, it’s quite a lovely place! Loose tea is usually sold by the oz. Prices range from $ 2 – 10(green tea — white tea)

I was happy to find a local place to buy loose tea. This shop is very accessible. They have a decent selection of green teas, black teas, and herbal teas. Pricing rates are competitive, and the service is really good– it’s a friendly staff. And, of course, the tea quality is really great. I will be a returning customer.

I found this place searching for«tea shops in San Diego». It’s so much closer to my house and a heck of a lot cheaper than Teavana. The owner was very helpful and friendly.

Super cute place tucked into downtown Chula Vista. The woman working the store that day was filling in for the owner, I believe, and wasn’t quite up to par on the tea knowledge. Enjoyed a cup of tea with scones. Not the best but not the worst. I would go back for filters, spoons and teas as they had a very good assortment. Cheers!

I love this place! The tea was delicious as were my gluten free vegan treats: o) It’s everything a tearoom should be; hats, dodads, and fun. It is so fun to dress up and be a ‘lady who lunches’ :o) Everyone should take tea, the world would be a better place and so I now share a favorite tearoom with you all. Go and make merry! :o)

Such a lovely treat and deal! Tea just $ 2.50 a pot. Pair with a scone — $ 5. Special treat with your five year old — priceless! I love their locally made hand towels.

Brought my sister and niece here for an afternoon out with their uncle, who was despairing for doing something different the ladies would enjoy after days of tramping around the zoo, hiking the trails, and riding horses. Surprise: they loved it — and so did Uncle Mike! Service was kind, efficient, and informed, and the«dainty» atmosphere really appealed to the ladies. I learned about some new teas I’d never heard of before, so I think Sir Thomas and Earl Grey’s days are numbered in my house. Consider bringing your little ladies here for a treat sometime — and drop in yourself if you’re looking for a peaceful midday break from the ways of the world. Another pleasant discovery in downtown Chula Vista that makes further explorations there likely.
