Always great service on this pharmacy. Claudia Higareda is very polite and always helps my Gramma Juana Thomas with the best service on her medications :)

This Medical Pharmacy is great, the help I was given was absolutely excellent. Also, I strongly recommend this pharmacy to anyone who is looking for a great pharmacy in Chula Vista area. Right when I walked in I was greeted. Every time I come to get my mothers medications and I get assisted by Claudia, she gives me the best professional help. she is an absolutely sweet and hard working women. Thank you! Medical Center Pharmacy.

I don’t think not speaking spanish has anything to do with the poor customer service. I was there recently and there was a lot of staff standing around and they waited awhile to greet me. I just think that they don’t think customer service is that important.

Normally I wouldn’t even take the time to review a pharmacy but this one is bad enough that I had to. If you don’t speak Spanish everyone looks at you like your idiot. Seriously. I am not imagining things. I don’t mind when people speak Spanish, but I do mind when I am looked down upon if I don’t. Another thing. for SEVEN straight months when I came into get prescriptions whether I called a few days in advance or 15 minutes every single time they told me it would be done within a certain timeframe it was late. SEVENSTRAIGHTMONTHS.

Ever get the feeling if you spoke Spanish you would get better service? That feeling doesn’t happen very often in Chula Vista CA,(15 min from Mexico-US border) but when I walk in here, the staff is speaking a foreign language to each other, and they ignore clients who walk in the door until its convenient to say hello– Would it be so difficult to look up and say«Good Morning!» when someone walks in? I waited over 40 minutes for three presciptions. I think that is excessive. They accept Tricare, but there was a $ 3 copay for generic and $ 9 copay for brand name medicines, in line with other pharmacies I’ve used and Tricare policy. There is a TV playing an endless loop of «health information» but the topics are narrow and repeats every 4 minutes, so its more like torture than useful information. If you live nearby, they have a shelf of «dollar store» items, like soap, hand cream, dishwashing liquid, which I guess is convenient but adds an unprofessional air to this tiny pharmacy. They are trying to be all things to all people, but fail in every area. The seven foot long row of candy six shelves deep makes me question the owner’s commitment to health– the candy is pure profit. :=( I am never returning.
