Came here for a quick pit stop with my husband, sister in law and her soon to be husband. I love places that have been around for a while and this place is exactly that. Will definitely come back and try the pizza next time.

LOVE THiS PLACE ! Fast service. Good food .good beer. Family friendly. I like that the actual bar is out in the back complete opposite side of where the arcade area is away from children. Even the simplest of chicken Caesar salad, is freaking delicious lol. highly recommended.

I am a native Chula Vistan, and I remember when kitty and the LA Bella family ran the place, there was no better Italian food in town, sadly that is not the case anymore. The game area is great for kids and if you want a pitcher of beer and go shoot a game of pool then this is your place, but if you want food go elsewhere. Last night i took out of town family there, and the cooks at La Bella don’t seem to be able to make a pizza without burning it, the crust was dry. I ordered the fettuccine Alfredo with chicken, the chicken looked and tasted like it had been sitting uncovered in the fridge for too long, the antipasto salad had too much oil and kept falling off the serving plate. Overall embarrassingly bad food. Don’t waste your money on food here, the quality and family pride is gone. The waitress was friendly and she still deserved her tip.

I just had another great dinner with family at this restaurant like many times before. Meatball pizza, onion rings & boneless chicken tenders. Great service & friendly. We will come back over & over again. A shout out to the manager, thanks again.

The most impressive part of La Bella Pizza is the space. This is probably one of the largest restaurants in San Diego! They have a little of everything from a walk in service area, to sit down restaurant, to game room and pool tables! Oh and a bar area too! The pizza is downright good. Not special, but good. I am excited to go back and try other flavors.

I have to say that this is one of my favorite pizza restaurants. My son likes it too especially the side with the games. Very low prices. I’ve been coming here for years, do be prepared for the décor to be quite outdated. The restrooms need an update, and it doesn’t smell like roses in there. They should consider a small remodel maybe just update the flooding and restrooms it would be a huge win in my opinion. Regardless though I’ll go there again, my favorite is the French bread pizza and chicken wings!

I’ve been eating at La Bella’s for over 40 years but have been disappointed the past few visits because it appears they no longer make to lemon cannolis. I have never liked cannolis in my life until I tasted their lemon ones. VERY, VERY, sad.(I still don’t eat anyone elses). Also we ordered pizza & meat ball sandwich for delivery. They forgot the sandwich so had to make second delivery. The sandwich had no sauce so was very dry and the cheese wasn’t even melted. Very disappointing. Won’t order again. They still have the best manicotti I’ve ever tasted though!

I had the pepporoni pizza and it was my first time there. I got it to go. The crust is amazing. You could seriously just eat the crust. The cheese and sauce and pepporoni sat well on it. I will probably go again in the near future and try their other items.

This la Bella’s has been here forever. Before they had bad service they always forgot my food or never put the order in. But now that it’s re modeled and has the pool tables and arcades it makes it more funner for kids and t does get pretty busy in here too. Service has gotten better then before. Pizza is yummy!

After being politely asked to give La Bella’s another chance I went to La Bella’s today after e months I walked in and asked for Rhianna(who was the individual who asked me to give La Bella’s a second chance) I ordered a pizza with pepperoni, sausage, meatball, canadian bacon, pineapple, smokey bacon, and Italian link sausage got exactly what i wanted this time.

This place is good for groups and families. Their food is typical Italian American food. Pizza, lasagna, cheesy bread etc. Overall the food flavor is good and the service is quick. I’ve been here a dozen times and I’m yet to get bad service. It’s always friendly and quick. It’s important to note there are 2 sections of this place. The regular restaurant/bar area the bar is separate from the restaurant and has tv’s and tables surround it to watch the game there if you wish AND then theres the restaurant/bar/arcade area which is in the back LITERALLY you have to walk through the restaurant go out back go through a tiny walkway outside and into the next door until you get to the arcade side. So much fun! There’s regular arcade games and pool tables! The drinks are reasonably priced as well as the food.

After today I am done with La Bella’s. Done. Ordered takeout so I didn’t have to deal with waiting over an hour for a table. My husband picked up a pizza and what was supposed to be a Caesar salad. Opened the salad and found it to be an antipasto with Caesar dressing. Are you kidding me?! Called to complain. The girl says she would make a new salad, but come back for it. I asked for a new pizza as well so mine wouldn’t be cold. She turned to ask the manager and I heard him say“seriously?, over a salad she wants a new pizza?” Yes, because I would like ALL of my food that I ordered and paid for at the SAMETIME! I did not want freebies, just all of my food, hot and at once. Not to mention the fact that my husband had to drive there TWICE to Get the correct food. Thank you for making my choice in restaurants easier in the future. No more La Bella’s for me. To top it off my 16 year old made mention that our pizza might have been made«special» because I complained. No proof of that, but I tossed it and went to Canada Steak Burger anyway. Why chance it when the manager gives attitude after giving you the wrong food?!

I came here for my boyfriend’s nephew’s 1st birthday party and they reserved a couple tables for 2 hours, which is the time limit they have on parties. We sat at the corner of this place, but our tables were supposed to be in a different area towards the middle, so his sister was not too happy about that. They have pool tables, kiddie games, and some arcade games right when you enter. There’s also a bar and big screen TV’s for the adults. We ordered 3 huge pizzas and the pizzas took a really long time to bake, so I ordered some wings to munch on. Our waitress recommended the original buffalo wings, so we got that… The wings came out super fast and were really crispy and yummy. It was weird that they put the sauce on the side, so I just ended up dipping the wings. When the pizzas finally arrived, I ate a couple slices of the Hawaiian jalapeño one. The bread and crust were too dry for me. Seems like a lot of people come here to celebrate birthdays of all ages. We didn’t stay long to play any of the games, so I’m not sure if they have prizes or not.

Another failed birthday. We arrive and aren’t acknowledged for 15 minutes, guy comes over and finally throws some menus our way and scurries away. 30 minutes later we are graced with his presence to order and cue another 15 more minutes for our drinks to arrive. Pizza and drinks finally arrive together after an eternity of being ignored. Went to hunt down my own straws. Pizza was wrong… finally realized it after not finding any pepperoni or meatballs. Finally hunt someone down to speak with them because our server is nowhere to be found. Bless this mans soul, he tried to help and was a kind soul but let’s go with the«fixing» of the mistake. We received a complimentary«correct» pizza to go. We open the pizza and it’s some kind of half and half concoction. Staff laughs«well at least half is right» Cue mistake number 3… I get home with my «2 time mistake half right pizza» I heat one up because I remember loving the sausage on their pizza, and helln it’s my bday… I deserve that slice. You guessed it… wrong pizza ONCEAGAIN. I never got pepperoni, I never got sausage. So yeah, happy birthday to me. It is what it is. Be careful with the lack of service from certain people and apparently be especially vigilant of getting the correct order, even when they«fix» your order. And DONOT go there for a special occasion unless you want to end up annoyed and never get the right thing :( I should gave gone with my first instinct to go elsewhere when it was obvious they didn’t even want to acknowledge us.

My mom and dad were personal friends of Kitty Raso, the late owner of La Bella, and I have some fond memories of eating here with my parents, and Kitty taking a break at our table. Dinner at La Bella Pizza was always a special event. After last night’s experience, I am sad to realize that I will never return, nor will the other eight adults that comprised our group. We’re a mature family now, with ages ranging from 40’s on up. We looked forward to this family reunion at La Bella’s for both nostalgic reasons and the anticipation of good pizza. We were seated way up in some back room containing a bar and numerous muted TV’s, which was fine. That is, until dozens, it seems, of screeching, squealing out-of-control kids(ages in the high single digits) arrived at the surrounding tables, along with their oblivious parents. The noise level(as other Unilocalers have noted) approached the pain threshold. Conversation was impossible, unless you were talking and gesturing to the person next to you. I’m not sure why our party of eight adults ended up next to all those kids, but I can tell you that upon leaving, we walked by two large quiet rooms with empty tables and other tables filled with adults in quiet conversation. At least I think they were, since my ears were still ringing mightily from the room we left. Why wasn’t our party of eight adults seated in a quiet room? The food was unremarkable. We ordered two pizzas, both«The Works». The toppings were somewhere between minuscule and microscopic. The mozzarella, while good, was not spread evenly on the pies. The center was therefore soggy, while the crust was crispy. In fact, my brother snapped a piece of crust off and gnawed on it. My wife said her eggplant parmigiana was overcooked and mushy, and contained far too much sauce relative to the eggplant. She didn’t care much for the sauce, either. She liked the minestrone soup. None of this information could have been shared at the table due to the ambient noise, so she told me afterward as we recovered our hearing in front of La Bella. A minor triumph was two pitchers of excellent Karl Strauss beer. We opted out of dessert, and I waved frantically at the waitress while giving her the throat-slash sign. She got the message, and presented the tab. Which was reasonable, but honestly, we would have paid twice as much for an enjoyable evening. Our harried waitress got a generous tip, since virtually every utterance had to be repeated at least three times to be heard. It was an awful experience, and sadly, one that nobody in the family will repeat. Ever.

I’ve never actually been to the restaurant itself… But we get food delivered to work from time to time. Last night we ordered a few pizzas and a salad. We ordered the WORKS. It’s a pretty decent tasting pizza, step up from your usually pizza delivery spots… The pizzas were warm, cheesy, and with a decent amount of toppings. I’m not a huge fan of olives, but that’s just a personal preference. The antipasto salad was good too. Cool crisp greens, two types of dressing(the vinaigrette is tangy), and enough toppings(salami, cheese, tomatoes, etc)… Only comment about the salad, is that the cheese triangle slices had no flavor. Like, literally. Delivery guy was quiet but courteous and friendly. Food was delivered within a decent time frame.
