Today, two employees at JE Exports provided a tour of their facility to 50 local high school students learning about the food truck industry. In addition to selling food to the public and serving as an import /​export business, JE Exports provides services to a number of food trucks in San Diego County. While I can’t comment on their food (though it looked like a great place to find products), I can say that the two employees that worked with our students today were professional, helpful, and really generous with their time and expertise. A lot of business is just about how you treat your customers. Today, these two employees earned five stars for going above and beyond their job and spending time to educate and inspire students who themselves are learning about how to be professionals in the food service industry.

JE Exports, from what I can tell is kind of like a wholesale place that sells different meats, including chicken, beef, lamb, and pork. They also sell things like eggs, processed burritos, frozen seafood including imitation crab meat, tilapia, mussels, and shrimp, and other canned or jarred items.
They sell items at relatively cheap prices, unfortunately the quality of those items are probably borderline unsafe to consume, in my opinion. I recently bought a box I think it was 40lbs or chicken wings for roughly $ 35. The chicken wings appeared to be really old with frost bite all over, they just look of such low quality. I also bought some frozen burritos that after cooked in the microwave came out very hard, again low quality. Another item I bought were imitation crab meat and like the chicken wings, they just look old and over frozen (if that makes sense).
Anyhow, my advice for anyone is, DO NOT BUY MEAT PRODUCTS HERE!
