Definitivamente regresaré a comer aquí The flavors of thaf food are really good. I had the enchiladas suizas with some orchata. My only advice is that the hands made tortillas could be done a bit thinner. Overall i will finally will come back

This place gets a one star because we are unable to rate less than that. If you’re not Mexican or don’t speak Spanish — they treat you like crap and don’t care whether you like their food or not. They just want your money. The women that work here are all rude and have zero customer service skills. Thumbs down ladies!

Going to El Comal is a nice experience when it is not busy. Going there on a Sunday morning after church can change things. My wife, two friends, and I made it to El Comal just as it was starting to get busy. The first thing I noticed was new menus, which of course means the prices have gone up. We found a table, but waiter a while for a server. The menu offered the regular Mexican breakfast choices and a nice omelette selection. I asked for the café de joya and was served lukewarm and very light on the cinnamon. We did not wait too long for the three omelette’s that were ordered. They were freshly made and well presented. The tortillas are hand made and very tasty. El Comal, good service and food, when they are not busy.

I cannot understand at all why this place has only 3 stars. The service is fast and friendly. The food is above average. Its very delicious. This is not a basic taco shop. Tortillas are fresh and atmosphere is welcoming and comfortable. I’ve been here at least 5 times in the last 2 months and its never busy. Such an underated restaurant. This place is always clean and the music is not overwhelmingly loud.

My wife and I first tried this place a month ago and thought that the chicken milanesa and tamarindo margaritas were pretty good. There weren’t many people in the restaurant and we were surprised because the food wasn’t bad. When we stopped by last night for dinner at 7PM, we were shocked because the door was locked and the signs were up saying the place was closed. WTF??? Closed at 7PM on a Saturday??? The sign on your door says that you close at 9PM??? But sure enough, we looked through the glass and saw a female counting cash at the front counter. If you guys have changed your hours, please change the sign on the door so people won’t think that you are open later than you are! My wife and I will NOTBEBACK!

Meh! I was here since it seemed to be the only place within walking distance that would have some drinks. We came in and ordered margaritas and of course an Indio beer for me. Kudos on having Indio, not so much charging $ 6 for it. Their chips and salsa are good, which you would think be an easy think to conquer but many places lack that skill. We ordered the queso fundido con rajas, and the cheese itself was meh, but the tortillas were really good and lifted the spirit of the appetizer. Service was super slow considering we were the only costumers on site. Overall, it as an ok pit stop but I do not see myself returning here.

It’s hit or miss here. Sometimes the food is pretty great and other times it’s pretty bad. I use to frequent this place often but my visits here are becoming few and far between.
