Doc’s Tree Service

I recently hired Doc’s Tree Service to remove a 45′ eucalyptus tree from my front yard. I called 5 tree services for estimates. Three of them came out to look at the tree. Doc is the only one that followed up the next day to see if he was the best bid. I checked his license online at the state… valid. I checked his liability insurance… in force. I checked the BBB online… no complaints. So I called him back and set the date. They showed up the next day. They were a few hours earlier than he had originally estimated. The tree was removed without any damage to my roof tiles (the tree was only 5 feet from my house and hung over the roof). The stump was ground down to almost a foot below the surface. The wood and branches were hauled away and the area was raked and sidewalks swept. There was little evidence they had even been there except for the loose soil instead of lawn where the tree had stood earlier that day. I would have given him 5 stars if he had only produced his insurance certificate when 1^st asked instead of later after they began trimming. I will definitely use them again and suggest you try them as well.
