This stylist is the real deal. Ms. Glam became my stylist about one year ago based on a recommendation from a good friend. I was searching for a stylist that could work with both natural and relaxed hair. My teenage daughter meet with her first. I was so impressed by her work, I made an appointment for myself the next day!
Voneva continues to do a magnificent job each and every visit.

I went to Voneva to get my hair done for my wedding last summer. I know it’s almost a year later that I’m writing this review, but I totally forgot to write it previously. She was very professional & knowledgeable. I instantly was made to feel comfortable. The other stylists were nice as well. If it wasn’t for my current financial difficulties I would still be going to her.

I moved to San Diego from Los Angeles and had the HARDEST time finding someone to do my extensions UNTIL I ran into Voneva! I will never have anyone else touch my hair. She is extremely professional and takes pride in the work she does for her clients. She checks in with you as she transitions through each phase in her work to make sure she is doing exactly what you want and will not let you walk out of the door without looking fabulous. The atmosphere is very comfortable unlike some salons and she lives up to her credentials. I always know I am going to get what I have paid for. I plan on going to her for some color next time around, I haven’t done it yet myself but i have seen her work and I wouldn’t even think of going anywhere else. 5 stars!

I felt the need for an update to my review…
Vonnie took me me from short, shaved in the back hair to long hair, and I’m talking my natural hair, not just extensions. I continue to wear extensions but not without regular maintenance. I don’t have any major hair loss and edges are still intact!

I got my hair «water-proofed» Friday, June 4, 2011 and it has not poofed since! My hair is very long and curly and is often so frizzy by noon each day. After being ‘water-proofed” it has even made my curls softer and more manageable. The best part about it is there is no formaldehyde
to harm the environment or you. Doesn’t get any better than this!
