Cold Stone Creamery

My mom and I recently visited this location to buy an ice cream cake for my younger sister.
The employees were kind enough to ask us if we needed assistance with anything. When my mom and I chose the cake, they immediately went to add the finishing decorative touches to the cake. Although they did not have the icing color we wanted, they showed us the other color options that they have.
Despite the large amount of people who were there to buy ice cream, the employees provided great customer service and gave everyone their ice cream in a timely manner.
My only concern is that the size of the building is small and there is not enough space to move around or sit down.

Love their ice cream filled cupcakes! They were a hit at my son’s birthday party. The staff was courteous and the was not disappointed with their product. Def were the first thing gone from the dessert table

We always receive coupons for this a buy one get one deal and we have started to visit more often.
The ice cream is delicious! I always the a peanut butter blend and it is always amazing. With the coupon, it is on par, if not better then getting Ben and Jerrys from the store.
The store it self is a bit cramped, but it’s not terrible.

If a sign say everyday special one can safely assume that it means all day right? Then why did I just walk into this establishment any pay a dollar more than what I was expecting to pay? A dollar isn’t much, I can probably find one on the street, but it’s still something I hadn’t taken into account. When I walked into this store I wasn’t even greeted no, «Hi welcome to cold stone, how can I help you today?» More of a cold blank stare until she said «if you’re ready let me know», with her back turned and over her shoulder. I let her know that I was ready and repeated three times what I wanted and what size she asks me again what size I wanted, I say «okay they’re about to close and they’re probably tired.» Then I’m asked if I’m going to order anything else and I responded by saying no and having yet another person help me out which I’m thinking is standard. This new person asked me what I ordered and I told her the like it size for the I cream shake and she says it’ll be $ 4.59, I ask «isn’t it suppose to be 3 dollars before taxes» and she’s says «yeah before 5 o’clock» and I mention that the sign by the door doesn’t have a specific time, and I quote she says «oh if it doesn’t say than its our fault» and she still continues to ring me up for the $ 4.59, instead of saying you know what it doesn’t it’s our fault let me give you the discounted price instead and we’ll fix that in the morning, what she instead says is that they’re is a sign hanging above the ice cream way over our heads that no one bothers to look up at saying that’s only till 5 o’clock and then tells me to have a nice days

You can never go wrong with the flavor of ice creams they have here. I am all about the cheesecake and chocolate a la mode! They also have toppings and ice cream cakes that you can write on for birthdays or whatever. I love comming here. It does get busy but it has its moments.

Good service! The ice cream looks always fresh and delicious. Sunday’s are always busy. Clean facility.

I’ve come to this location a few times because they give a % off when you check in before you pay which I absolutely love.
I came here the other night after going to the Circle of Lights. It was already super cold out (for a San Diegan, lol), but I still wanted ice cream. I hate bringing ice cream to go because it gets melty so we decided to eat it on the bench that’s inside of the shop. I guess people don’t sit and stay on that bench often because we got some dirty stares once we were the only customers left. Yikes!
I’ll still continue to come to this Cold Stone as long as they offer a % off, but now I know for next time to not stay. Hahah.

It’s across the street from my house, so I’ve been here a few times. Each time I’ve gone the employees working look completely bored, uninterested and don’t speak up when it’s loud in there and they are trying to communicate that they don’t have the sprinkles I want.
Last night I went again (pregnant, decided I needed ice cream at 9pm), wasn’t able to get the name of the girl who was serving us our ice cream BUT I liked her! She was full of smiles, didn’t have a «ugh I don’t want to be here but I need gas money» expression and was quick with my order. Only part I didn’t like was there was a few nuts in my ice cream when I ordered French vanilla with the rainbow sprinkles. I know she didn’t intentionally do it and she had a good attitude… So I can deal with it.
Will visit again, hopefully to the same great attitude I got last night :-)

Their pumpkin flavored ice cream with French vanilla with graham cracker crumbs was like eating a slice of pumpkin pie!

Every time I come here there’s a line. But it’s worth it. Staff was friendly and pretty quick. Some other customers were rude but I come for the ice cream. So it’s all good.

Horrible service if you come here with a group. 3 servers and will let others that just got there to get their orders before your entire group actually ordered. Basically don’t go there if you are in group! Otherwise you will be there forever!!! 1 server says it’s their policy!!! Guess, they like making money on 1 or 2 people than a huge group! Good job! NOT!

I love cold stone I got to have it I like it and I love it. One of the nice things about this cold stone is when you walk in the door all the workers say hello.
I’ve had just about every flavor of ice cream they have there but I have to say the chocolate devotion is my favorite. Try it with a waffle cone it’s delicious!
On the hotter days it gets really busy but get there before the Sun Goes Down and the line won’t be so long.

Nice ice cream with good texture from their freezing appliance and folding the cream. It’s a tad too sweet.
Also tried ice cream cake which was just Meh. The cake and whipped cream aren’t a good for texture. Waffle cone or cookies pair much better.

I am an avid ice cream eater, and nowhere before have I encountered such great tasting ice cream! I have tried various locations including even in Mexico! Nothing beats Cold Stone! I love going here after school since its so close. The staff is always friendly and respectful. However if you want to get your ice cream on the weekend, come early! Friday night it gets packed!

I love cold stone! Best ice cream place. This is my #1 favorite place to come too. Also love the friendly service.

Pretty cool how they prepare ice cream here. A lot pricier than Rite Aid Ice Cream.

Very tasty ice cream! Good service. I only wish the place was a little bigger so there could be tables inside.

Been here 4days in a row in one week LOLOLOLOL

Have been to this location a couple times. Workers are very friendly and made our orders in a timely manner. There wasn’t anyone in line before us and I’ve never been here when it’s crowded, so I’m not sure how well time is managed in those situations.
Not really much to say about Cold Stone Creamery. I always order a Signature Creation, so not much to mess up because I don’t order anything customized. Location is clean, workers are nice, and ice cream is good — that’s what keeps me coming back.
