Child Development Center

My two year old son has been attending Southwestern’s Child Development Center for about 9 months now. This was his first group child care experience and he was a little hesitant at first.
If you are looking for a quality child development program, look no further! The space and grounds of the school are park-​like and inviting. All of the teachers greet all of the children upon arrival, they are genuinely happy to see the children and their enthusiasm shows. The school and teachers let the children be children, exploring their surroundings, playing with nature and dirt and water and rocks, changing the classroom items weekly to keep the children interested and engaged.
The teachers in the two year old room are outstanding. Ms. Maria and Ms. Pam are warm and loving. They are gentle and kind, but run a well-​functioning classroom. If you can’t have your favorite Auntie or Grandma watching the children, this is the next best alternative! Their love for the job and love for the children is evident in all they do.
I would recommend this school to any close friends looking for quality, affordable, engaged, and warm care for toddlers!

My children have been going here for over a year now and they love it. Pam is an exceptional and caring teacher. She has many years of experience and it shows! She is patient and nurturing. We absolutely love her. Maria is also absolutely AMAZING! She went above and beyond to comfort my daughter and help her with the adjustment of going to school. They do tons of things with the kids from gardening to art shows. It’s a wonderful school and I highly recommend it.
