Service continues to be terrible! Beware of this business. They have very unprofessional tow truck drivers. They are out to get your money. I’ve had 3 terrible experiences with them. I thought i would give them a 2nd chance but they failed! AGAIN!

Last evening I had my car towed there by AAA. Anthony, the owner, called me the following morning. They got the problem squared away, the service as good and the cost was reasonable. I will give them a call next time something happens.

Ran out of fuel on my bike at 9:45pm on the way back home, called AAA, they sent these guys out with fuel, filled up the tank and the dude left. The fuel that was delivered however had all kinds of sediments and other crap in it so my bike did not start. Had to spend another 2 hours for the tow on the side of the road freezing my ass off. Found out next day it was the fuel that messed up my bike. Cost to fix $ 125. Called AAA to resolve the issue, they said call Anthony’s up and try to resolve the issue on your own. So I call and talk to Anthony, the owner, he basically just tells me to go screw myself. No concern for the customer or the reputation of their business. Had a previous bad experience as well. Alternator went bad on my Honda, so had them tow the car to Anthony’s, had the alternator fixed the next day, paid the full price. However when I took the car to my regular guy in El Cajon a couple of weeks later, out of curiosity asked them the price to install a new alternator on my Honda, the estimate they gave me was $ 250 cheaper than what these guys charged me, matching the brand of alternator Anthony’s had used. Have not really been a reviewer here but when I see a bad business, I can’t not write about it. avoid this place like the plague or ready to be ripped off if that’s your style. P. S. I did manage to get the cost to fix my bike back from AAA, very thankful for that. However I still hate it that these guys are driving around town claiming to be AAA level business which they are definitely not.

So my car broke down in the middle of the street while I was driving it. I called a tow truck in the area and having just moved to the area, he suggested I go here because their work is guaranteed and he said they were honest and decently priced. I needed my car to be diagnosed since it just died out of nowhere. They called me in the morning and said they wanted to diagnose my car but I did not hear anything from them until the work day was almost over. I had to follow up and they fixed my car for a price which I am unsure about…I don’t know how to gauge whether the service was good or bad…*crossing fingers* I hope they don“t disappoint. I will keep everyone updated if anything has gone wrong with their work.

yeah this place sux… they were/are in cahoots with someone in CV city legislature as they’ve have/had the towing contract in CV for far too long, they damage vehicles, their drivers are drunk and/or stoned and they’ve tried some really shady stuff w/me and ppl I know in the area in the last 20 yrs. Just thought I’d dump on em again here as I was looking for a lien seller in the area and they came up on google, I think I’ll look elsewhere… True story they towed my car(CVPD suspended licesnce) and I got it all taken care of in 3 days and my bill was still $ 600 and they tried to say I had a mandatory 30 day impound regardless of the release order I had in my hand from a judge… I watched as the guy damaged my hood while towing it, the operator didn’t turn off the winch until my hood was scratched, they offered to paint it themselves or give me $ 50, I called my insurance instead. One call to my attorney had this fixed in less than 30 min. The owner is a class«A» schiester, you’d have to be a fool to go here.

Took my car here for a radiator, gasket and hose replacement. They did a terrible job. A week after the replacement, my car started overheating. When I took it to another shop, the repairman said the radiator was installed at a slant and that the hose fiting was cut too short. I tried asking Sam or Paul at Anthony’s Auto Center to refund my money, but they refused. Please think twice before using Anthony’s Auto Center for your car repair.
