Just love this store! The staff is very reasonable and friendly. They get in truly unique, interesting and different toys. If you have a child with interests that go beyond your average toy, this is the shop for you. The prices are reasonable and the atmosphere is fun. Go ahead and be that super cool aunt or uncle and get them a toy that isn’t in every other toy store.

We love this place! We had a season pass coupon type deal the entire summer and got 20% off every time we shopped. It’s much better than Target and I feel better about letting my toddler explore (she loves it here too!) The staff is always friendly and laid back. It’s in a run down strip mall which might deter some potential customers, but don’t let it! Fun toys you can’t find at Target or Walmart at reasonable prices for all ages!

I am embarrassed that I haven’t been to this store in 14 years in Blacksburg. The location in a run-​down strip mall with ever-​changing retailers led me to think this would not be a place for me. I also assumed that the emphasis would be on hobby supplies and not toys. I think this is probably the best place for toys in town (I know we’re not overrun with toy stores, but this place offers more variety and more for each age group than other stores). I found quality toys, mostly things I wouldn’t find at Target or Wal Mart, for all ages of kids and hobby enthusiasts (I didn’t pay much attention to the hobby items). I found a range of prices so I didn’t have to spend a lot to get a nice toy. I did some comparison pricing to Amazon and the prices were comparable if you figure in the cost of shipping. Plus, I went on Black Friday (busy but not suffocating) and got 20% off of everything so it was cheaper than online. I found things for an 11 y.o. girl when I’ve just about written off the toy section in Target and WM for her. Great shopping experience, friendly staff, lots and lots of selection of quality toys and games to fit any budget.
