The food is great. The service sucks and the managers don’t talk to the customers coming here since June and not once have they said hello. The only reason we go back is the food and not many choices in Chowchilla they really need a lesson in customer service

Wow! After being on the road all day, we pulled into The Lakes RV resort, then we stepped into The Final Round for dinner. As we walked in, we asked an employee why we should go in and she quickly responded, «because of the great wood fired pizza and the vodka». She was so right! We had one of the best dinners and atmosphere that we’ve had in the two years that we’ve lived ‘on the road.’ The drinks actually had alcohol in them and the food was superb. We enjoyed the chicken with mushrooms and asparagus as well as the fish and chips. Nice Friday night crowd. Family friendly. We highly recommend !!!

I do enjoy the atmosphere at this place however if you’re willing to pay it’s $ 20 for some lettuce a few croutons four pieces of shrimp and leave still hungry then this may be the place for you. What I’ve noticed is if you would like good service and a decent meal make sure you go on a day when the manager is present otherwise it’s a bunch of kids just playing around.

Had lunch there for the first time since new ownership and it was great. Chicken wrap and house salad were both very tasty. Service was great too. I love how it’s all open now. Wish them lots of luck and we will be back.

Much improved over the last month. Sounds like there are a lot of improvements coming to the outside area too. There’s still kinks to work out though. On my last trip they forgot the salad dressing on my salad. I was happy to see the menu with the French Dip Quesadilla again. Went a little light on the cheese but it’s still a highlight in the expereince. I’m looking forward to seeing continued improvment and on visiting again soon.

What a great change has come to the Chowchilla dining experience… Located right on the 19 th hole of the Pheasant Run Golf Course… This place used to be just ok. Now we the remodel to a sports bar theme… It’s lights out better. With the addition of an outdoor pizza oven and a revamped menu, this place just rocks! The staff is so much more accommodating and excited to be serving great food. What a NITE we had last nite… St Pats w all the trimmings. Corned Beef and Cab etc… A special music event made the night just soooooo special… Keep it up… TFR!!!

I went by last night for the first time since new ownership and it was great! A man named Mike(I believe the owner) helped us and he was extremely friendly and very helpful! I live on the gold course and rarely went before, after seeing the improvements I’m positive I’ll be there a lot more! Environment was fun and our pizza was outstanding!

Disappointing. Wasted potential. The location and atmosphere offer a great opportunity for a good restaurant experience. Sadly, this is not the case. The food is inconsistent and lack luster at best. Service can be incredibly slow, over an hour to get a club sandwich is ridiculous. The servers are very friendly, so I can only assume that management, understaffing, poor training and cheap ingredients are to blame for the less than stellar experience here. Also, really poor attention to detail. The outside area looks unfinished and smells of an ash tray(doesn’t look like they clean up well after Saturday nights), missing locks in the bathroom, etc. This is too nice of a location to have such a poor quality restaurant. I’m really hoping it improves.
