First off, I handle breakdowns for a fleet of 1500 trucks, and I have for sixteen years. I am intimately familiar with repair costs and response times in any area of the US at any time of day or night.
These guys are our first call in this area for road service on our trucks and trailers. They keep a good parts stock on hand, their response time is normally excellent, and while their rates are a little on the high side they are not at all out of line. For the service they provide they are more than fair. In the transportation industry time is money. What will cost more, paying a little more to get fixed and rolling again or saving some money up front but waiting for parts and effective service?
I am in total agreement with Hargis P, the two reviews below are obviously from the same person, they’re even phrased the same way. Clearly anyone who thinks the work he describes can be done in 10 – 15 minutes doesn’t know what he’s talking about.

Very good service. Was very helpful in fixing the problem that I needed fixed. Was pulled in for an inspection, got a violation and they were out with 30 minutes to get started. Would highly recommend this service to any trucker who needs good fast service on their truck. You can tell hes a good based off of him troubleshooting the problem and getting me back on the road. I got stopped at the scales in Chowchilla, and called this company. He got there quick. I was red tagged for oil on my Right Steer brake shoes and drum. He took it apart, and told me because the brake shoes were really is good condition, that he could clean everything really good, and put it back together. And then see if it passes inspection. When he got done cleaning, I thought they were brand new brake shoes. Went back through, and passed inspection with no problem.
I read the other reviews. There is something funny about the complaints. First of all the repair man tells you on the phone that he charges a two hour minimum, plus cost of any parts. Sam K complaint doesn’t sound right. Any man should know that it takes longer than 15 minutes to change out a brake drum, and shoes. and $ 110.00 in parts is cheap. Also the other review Erik J sounds like it is Sam K again under a different name. Review of John C. Is probably Sam K again.
I am a company driver now. The problem is if Truck owners would do the required maintenance on their trucks it would prevent the need for road side repair in most situations. That was the case with me and it sounds the same for Sam K. And Erik J.
I reported my problem to the owner, they chose to ignore it for a while. then they had to have it fixed. If Sam, K & Erik J would have done their pre trip, they could have saved money. When you call for road side service, you should know it will cost extra. It’s a big expense for the repair man to Operate that vehicle. Complain all you want, if you would have done your job, you wouldn’t have been Red tagged.
My bill was very reasonable for the all the work he did. I would call him again, and I will recommend him to anyone. You don’t call for an Abulance when your have a heart attack, and then complain about the charge when they saved your life.

Stopped at scales in Chowchilla for a leaking wheel seal that had contaminated the brakes. Bill came to over 500 bucks for 1.5 hours work and about 100 bucks in parts. Owner is friendly enough until he hits you with the bill then it is a whole different game. Beware!
