It’s as good as any non-​authentic Mexican restaurant. Service is OK but the margaritas (even the top shelf tequila one) is made from a mix. Good for a local family evening out.

Such a disappointment Ordered fajitas and got a quesadilla, how do we confuse this? Waitress told me if you order fajitas the cook defaults to fajitas quesadilla. Very odd to me. Used a Groupon and the owner tried to give us free beer and told me to use the Groupon next time. I said there is no next time.
Our 2nd time and last.

Mediocre food. Clean decent service. Decided to use our coupon and try it out as the area lacks a good restaurant of Mexican cuisine. The enchilada was smothered in a pile of lettuce??? underneath hiding was the pale colorless dish. It made the dish look unappetizing though the taste was not bad. There was a pervasive smell, some spice that hit you when you came in the door and followed in the ho hum picante sauce and the rice side. I hated it and I do eat lots of different food. Frankly Taco Bell would have been just as good. After eating at Guadalajara I should have known better.

Having spent some time traveling through Central America I can say that this comes amazingly close to the food I loved there! I was surprised to find it in such an unassuming location. The only down side to this place is that it’s small and doesn’t have tons of seating — but in turn it has a quiet, relaxed feel. Street tacos and a cold beer are an absolutely perfect end to a summer day!

Pretty good the service was slow and the place it’s self is really small, if ur deciding from sitting in or getting it to go u should choose to go, they get backed up really easy, but the food is pretty good.

I love the Street Tacos! If the corn tortillas are store bought then I guess I don’t mind store bought tortillas. The food probably wouldn’t stand up to some of the authentic Mexican places that I have been to in the Southwest states but it is pretty good for this area.
The only thing that this place always lacks is great service. The service has always been kind of weird since it opened but was especially odd last time I went and was served by the chef???

The chicken tacos tasted like cat food. Absolutely the worst Mexican food I’ve ever had!
The server was some 16 year old kid. His pants were constantly sagging. There was 3 tables with a total of 7 people. Yet it still took over 25 min to get our food.
I’m from Arizona and know good let alone edible Mexican food and this is not it.

I generally try and be as positive in my reviews as I can, but… We were NOT impressed at all with this place. The service was really slow, the food, especially the Street Tacos, were average at best with store bought corn tortillas. The topper was that my wife ordered a glass of wine. The server brought it to her, after a long wait, and informed us that even though the glass looked cracked, the manager said that it was just the way the glass was made. After she left I reached over and could feel the glass separate inbetween my fingers. Cracked. After informing her of this, and waiting about 10 more minutes, they brought her wine out in a beer glass because they didn’t have any more wine glasses!!! Really? I hope they improve basically everything about their restaurant because we could use a place like this around Chisago!

The Street Taco’s are very good, I will continue to go back for them! I must, however, stress that one should not consider dining here if timely or professional service is a priority. Service is, at best ambivalent, plenty of apologies followed by repeatedly poor service. If take out is requested prepare yourself for a mountain of land fill… these folks like their styrofoam.
Please get your act together, Chiko’s… you could do sooo much better!

I really enjoy this restaurant its small and has a nice feel to it. The food is fabulous! They have a nice bar and plenty of drinks, family friendly, takeout, free wifi and great food! I like to go for some (aunthetic) street tacos and their Torta which is delicious golden brown crusted sandwich filled with mouthwatering steak, some avocado, refried beans, and a small kick with their chipotle mayo! Mmm. Highly recommend it staff is friendly. Go now! Get a margarita and a torta and you are ready To go! Don’t know much about authenticity but this is good food! A small fall back is the small area inside about 5 – 6 tables and bar it can get quite full in busy hours but you can always call for takeout!
