Been here a few times and the kids love their pastries. Little pricey but a little pricey.

I been coming here for years, and I love the stuff here as it reminds me of Taiwan. I recommend this place for anyone who’s a fan of pastries, Taiwanese pastries, or just a homesick Taiwanese person like myself lol. The service is pretty friendly.

JJ Bakery is one of the best well known taiwanese bakery in SoCal. It’s convenient location to my work place enables me to stop by almost twice to three times a week. The bread is made fresh everyday, and I’ve tried their cakes as well. Very decent quality~

JJ Sweet is a chain of Taiwanese bakeries. I love this little shop in Chino. They have a great selection of breads, cakes and pastries that are always fresh and tasty. They also do special order cakes as well, and we use them for birthdays and anniversaries. I was worried that when the 85C shop opened that they might lose too much business and closer, but they still have a steady flow of customers and they move products pretty fast with no change in freshness. They are a small place but they are very efficiently laid out so the flow of customers is pretty fast. If you want pastries grab a tray and tongs and pick your items off the shelves. If you want a cake go to the glass case. A small refrigerated case is by the door for drinks and puddings. They also have a refrigerated area behind the counter. I usually ask for my triangle cakes from the refrigerator. Overall, a five star bakery.

I don’t especially like Asian bakeries, but my son loves them so we went in. I had a pineapple bun — it was OK. What caught my attention was on one of the tables they offered a roll with scrambled eggs, ham and mayonnaise. NOTREFRIGERATED! I asked the one worker who understood English why it’s not in the refrigerator and he said«no need until overnight.» Ughh! They have a letter grade of A on the window, but I will be making a phone call…

Bread Selection Meh. This is one of the smaller JJ bakery. I went to buy Pork Sung Bread which is their regular item only to find 1 left(I usually buy 3 at a time). I asked if there were going to be more coming out and they told me they may have it a bit later. I looked around for other bread that I may like since I was uncertain when the new batch was coming out and was not wiling to come back later. I had picked up sandwiches, pineapple crust bread and 3 wedges of sponge cake. The quality felt a little short with the last pork sung bread compare to the other JJ branches and I was a little disappointed. The other stuff was fair and about the same quality. In my opinion, I would consider going to the rowland heights and city of industry for bread.

Can’t go wrong here people. It is a small bakery, but they are huge in flavor. I can’t believe my wife and I devoured a whole mango cake by our selves! So delicious! Like I said, the place is small, but clean and you don’t have to wait around for help. If you want a piece of cake, they got it. If you want cookies, they got them too. I’m not sure where their baking style comes from, but my wife tells me is Chinese. It doesn’t matter, you should try their Mango Cake.

I’ve been here a number of times and my impression of this place gets better each I time visit. The variety of items makes it hard to choose on just a few things, but they never fail to disappoint. The staff here is always friendly and accommodating, and I love the fact that they always include a cake cutter and candles any time you buy something for someone’s birthday.

Finally had a chance to try JJ Sweet after passing by several of their locations before. This is a pretty small location, the set up the same as 85 or Paris baguette where you grab your tongs, a tray and stock up. Prices are fair, most items are under $ 2 each. We had the florentine cookies, my favorite, they were perfect. A small loaf of seeded bread was also great after toasting at home. The almond pastry, also excellent, almost like a croissant, crunchy edges, soft inside. I will have to be back to try more next time, much better than I expected!

Stopped by here today for the first time. This place is kind of like a miniature 85c. Not as much variety in the drinks, but they have quite a few delectable looking desserts. This time around, I tried the bbq pork and the curry baked goods. I would rate those items in particular 3 stars. The BBQ pork could use a little more pork filling. And I guess I don’t really dig the curry flavor, so that couldn’t really be helped(I was experimenting). I also got a cold jasmine green tea. I like how it was ready-to-go, and how it had no ice. You can just pick one up from the refrigerated section on the right when you walk in. Apparently if you spend $ 20 you can get it for free, but at $ 2, it’s not a bad price by itself. The lady there was nice. I’m really happy with the tea because honestly, my main objective today was to wake up without having to drink coffee. Yay!

I love this bakery!!! They have delicious decadent Asian cakes and breads without the long lines! I usually come here to buy birthday cakes, and I highly recommend the chocolate chocolate cake. Chocolate cake surrounded by dark chocolate ganache and strawberries with a giant chocolate rose on top, it makes it almost too pretty to eat… almost.

JJ’s has presentation perfected. This bakery is incredible for any occasion. While some Asian bakeries offer more exotic selections of flavors like the squid ink flavored pastries at 85 degrees, JJ’s concentrates on more traditional items and that’s where they have it just right. They isn’t trying to compete with other bakeries. They’re just doing what they know how to do, the best way possible. From sweet to savory the selection is incredible. Fresh, quality ingredients that are both pleasing to the eyes as well as the palate. Minimum $ 10 purchase if you’re using a credit/debit card and if you spend $ 20 or more, you get a free tea of your choice. Do try the mochi and inquire about having specialty cakes made for all your special occasions sure to be a crowd pleaser!~ :)

Beautiful and delicious cakes guaranteed to impress the masses. Everytime I walk in just«to look around» I end up with a bagful of sinfully sweet pastries. UGH. The worst part is, I eat everything – usually in one sitting. Recently, I impromptu bought a cake for a birthday. Everyone was floored by how pretty and equally yummy it was. I love how their cakes are moist, usually filled with fruit, light cream or mousse, topped with more fresh fruit or decorative chocolate pieces. Pricey, but well worth it.

The mango mousse cake is delicious! I ordered a large cake for my friends’ wedding shower. The cake made its way all the way down to San Diego just fine and the guests enjoyed it… even asked where I ordered it from and was disappointed when I told them they’re up in the LA area. The cake was decorated above my expectations. There was a huge rose made of chocolate on top of the cake. Mmmm. Only con has to be that they don’t really personalize their pre-ordered cakes. I ended up purchasing a white chocolate heart that they told me they’d write my message on. The heart ended up being so small and the person who wrote on it with icing didn’t have good handwriting, so I didn’t even use it. I’ll skip on that next time.
