Dr. Kims Optometry

Really great place! Dr. Kim and her staff were extremely friendly and professional. She answered all my questions and I was out before I knew it. They even fixed my old pair of glasses I had on. It was missing a nose pad, so they popped on 2 new ones and adjusted them correctly. Ever since I had them they always sat slanted on my face, lol and no one I went to over the years was able to fix it. Anyways, really cool place and great prices. Check it out.

I liked this office the first time I went to them (2013) this year however I feel like they ripped me off and even ended up paying out of my pocket after insurance. I originally wanted contact lenses and just change the lense on my old frame to my new prescription (which they did for me the first year without hesitation on an old pair of frames) the person helping me said i couldn’t do it. The lenses I got where not my first choice but they state there the only ones i could get in the style and brand that fell into the guidelines of my insurance. they where ray bans she pulled from the back office, when i first got them they gave me this old cheap plastic case, for the price they charge me and the insurance i should have received the original ray ban case. So not sure if these where old glasses, defective? not sure! it has been two months and the lenses are already popping out of my frames, and for some weird reason over a matter of a month I’m starting to develop this weird rash/​burn on my nose where the lenses sit. I called today to see if they could help me out maybe get some contact lenses and i would pay or maybe help me with the frames. I just got the call that they are not able to help me as it has been past 21 days! So since they are not even trying to help me i am taking my business somewhere else. Very disappointed on how the quality of service gone down since the first time, seems more money hungry to me! So thank you, you have just lost a customer!

I had to change my review from 3 starts to 5 «AS GOOD AS IT GETS»
Seems they heard my gripe and took action, they are replacing the lenses on my wife’s glasses free of charge to us. Notice i said to us. They are incurring the charges themselves.
Not that they had to, they just are kind enough to do so.
I an now aware that in the future when I get other glasses at Dr. Kims Optometry of course. I need to get that added peace of mind up front. So this will not happen again.
This kind of gesture should make you walk into Dr. Kims Optometry, they take care of their customers.

Loved it here!!! Had to bring my niece and nephew with me. Dr Kim was not only amazing as a Dr but so nice and sweet to my family. In and out quick and staff was nice and helpful. Glad to find a place like this close to my house

I went here for a 2 year overdue eye exam and new glasses. The exam was super fast and easy and Dr. Kim is very easy to talk to. I wasn’t seeing a huge variety in my budget for the frames/​lenses so I wanted to take my prescription and shop around. When I asked for my prescription I was told I could only use it there. I was very upset and left. I went to a few other places but didn’t get far without my prescription. I ended up going back and picked a frame that is similar to what I’ve been wearing the past few years. They’re cute. I just wanted to shop around and get something different.

Dr. Kim’s Optometry is well run facility with a friendly and helpful staff. They have the latest designer styles with moderate prices. If you’re looking for Armani, Tom Ford, Versace, Burberry, Rayban or Oakley this is the place. Ask for Diego Kim for English, Spanish or Korean. If you have insurance questions Samantha Mejia has all the answers. Dr. Kim is extremely knowlegdable and explains everything.

I’ve been coming here with my family for so long and the staff is super friendly. I love coming here. Dr. Kim is very nice and patient. The staff there is also great! :) They are always willing to spend extra time helping us find the glasses we actually want.

New patients are not warned if there are additional cost. They didn’t give me my insurance discount because I wouldn’t buy from them. Most unprofessional dr office I’ve ever been in.

Dr. Kim was very friendly and helpful. She was thorough in her explanations. They took me as a new patient on a same day appointment and I got my glasses within a week.
The only thing was that their selection of glasses wasn’t as broad as I preferred.
But definitely great service and knowledgeable on dealing with insurance.

Dr. Kim is the best! I first met her way back in the 90’s when her daughter was in my Montessori class :-) She took care of my little sister’s prescription and my mom’s prescription. I have referred several friends to her over the years and they were super happy with the service they were provided. Dr. Kim speaks fluent Spanish too as well as Korean. I have visited her many times over the years with questions about the eyes, eye injuries, infections etc and for cool sunglasses too. This is a great place to come for yearly eye exams which is a must. One of these years I am sure I will need glasses, hopefully later than sooner. Dr. Kim is the only doctor I will ever visit as long as I live in Southern California.

I just got glasses here! Sevice is excellent, price is good and lots of fashionable glasses to choose from. Dr. Kim is very nice and sales man named Diego is best ever! Must check it out. I give two thumbs up!!!

I visit California once a year. while I was visiting, I had broke my glasses, I went to Dr. Kim’s optometry and obtain A+++ service. The doctor gave me a quick but great exam glasses were great too. Great service~
