Cosmopolitan Ultra Lounge

I went with some of my girls to hang out and had a great time. I loved the lounge area with the furniture you are able to chill in a separate area away from the dance floor.
The décor is gorgeous and management was very accomodating to me and my girlfriends throughout the night. I would definitely go back here.

this place is kinda nicely decorated but theydo need to dim the lights more. if they are trying to set it as a club/​lounge.
if you dont want to drive to LA, its a closer place to chill, and you dont have to worry about the parking since its a at a complex by the senior apts. and its free entrance. BUT it is an older crowd on Saturday
but i think they have the younger crowd on Thursday, even the promoter said to come on thursdays instead hahaha!
Staff:
–Please TRAIN them!
–they were short on staff/​bartenders
–slow and unexperienced, dont know how to make some of the drinks unless u order jack/​coke type of drinks
–took 30 mins to order a drink
–they took their precious time to make the drinks
DJ:
–Please hire a new one, the club would do better with a good DJ
–music wasnt as loud as it should be
–playlist sucked

came here on their opening saturday night to celebrate a friends birthday for a chill night since it was local. the place is really nice, i mean as far as décor and space. the location is kinda weird but its worth the SHORT drive unless you absolutely must be in a hollywood crowd. otherwise you’re gonna find mostly locals and… older crowds on saturdays.
anyway…½ off drinks before 10:30pm was probably the best part of the evening! although when we first arrived, the bartenders indicated that ½ off was only on beers but come to find out later that it was on ALL drinks! so BOO the first bartender for not knowing what the heck she was talking about. drinks are average, $ 8 for simple mixed drink and shots, $ 10 on martinis.
i’m going to try and be as nice as possible with my review since they just opened. the bartenders need more training. the girls were seriously taking their time making the drinks… ummmm, bartenders should pretty much be on the ball making the drinks as fast as possible so they can get on with the next order, i mean afterall they are working for tips right? and when i did place my order, on two separate occasions the bartenders actually forgot my drinks. also, they COULD smile a little more. i mean, they all looked like they were having the worse time ever and hated their jobs… and it wasn’t even busy yet. ok… they need more staff. they actually ran out of glasses and started using the red party cups. ya…
they need a new DJ. but thats probably just a preference cuz i was not digging the music and the mixes.
the night kinda ended early becuz some drunk idiot decided to pull the fire alarm which caused a bit of a chaos. so hopefully the club/​promoters will be able to get some comps out to get people to go back.
so basically for a local place, its alright. just dont go there with too high of expectation and just have fun. it has potential… its just needs some tweaking.
