So I waited a few weeks before leaving a review. So on the surface they are your typical MMA gym. Great floor plan, has all equipment needed to run any type of MMA training. Has a decent work out area as well. Onto the training currently my 4yr old is taking classes with both Sensai Emory and Sensai Tony. She is absolutely loving it! They both are absolutely the perfect balance of fun and discipline while staying true to teaching these young kids the basics of protecting themselves, while encouraging confidence. Increasing there agility, strength and overall physical ability!!! We are so in love with this place my wife and I will also be joining to get into shape and learn with this amazing group. They are great for the MMA fighter wanting to perfect his craft or the Dad or mom looking to increase there physical ability. I started in Karate at a young age I received my Brown belt in Kenpo Karate, as well as taken a few years of Thai Boxing. So far this gym is great for any type of interest!

I was skeptical enrolling my daughter in this at 1st. I thought it would be too«tough» for her, but I was wrong. Sensei Avery is one of the instructors there and INMYOPINION(and most of the other parents too), he is the best instructor for the kids. Although he is stringent with them and demands their attention and respect, he is very caring and tries to teach them life lessons through MMA. The gym is neat and usually clean and the other parents are welcoming. I recommend this gym/program to anyone who wants their kid to gain more structure, respect for themselves & others, and learning martial arts skills.

We have had a membership here for 3 years now. The instructors have become part of our extended family. All the instructors are patient and tailor their teaching to the level of the student. You will always be gently encouraged to do a little more, but if you are like me and only want to spar or roll on the mat every now and then that is not a problem. If you are like my son and want to immerse yourself in as deeply as possible, they will support and encourage that also. This is a true Combined Martial Arts dojo, you can learn Judo, Jiu Jitsu, Kick Boxing, Muy Thai, Grappling and Striking. From kids to adults, single or families, there is room for you here. Beginners to Advanced, no one is left out. The goals of this dojo, Respect, Courtesy, Honesty, Diligence, Humility, Responsibility, Obedience are not just slogans, but instilled in all the students of this Dojo. So come in, get a workout like me, or become a Jiu Jitsu State Champion like my son, you will have a great time doing it.

If you are looking for a place where your kids can learn martial arts, get good exercise and have fun, I cannot recommend this Dojo enough. My girls started about 15 months ago when they saw the listing in our local Parks & Rec brochure for a one month class. I figured why not let them try it and get some exercise. Turns out they loved it so much that over a year later they are still going twice a week. My oldest daughter is athletic and it’s great to see her gaining strength and confidence. My youngest daughter is not athetic — doesn’t like to break a sweat, but in these classes, she always sweats without complaint, as she enjoys it. When she started she was shy and lacking in confidence. Now she gets in there and I can really see a difference. The sensei, Tony, is really involved and gets everyone motivated. He focuses on respect and doing the right thing, which are good values. My husband and I used to watch our girls, but with Tony’s encouragement, we now work out with the kids too. Sometimes we join the class, and other times we work out on the equipment he has. I am not a person who goes to the gym — pretty boring — but during these classes the time just flies. It’s never the same thing twice and I look forward to working out. I have found myself getting stronger and it’s great to have something that the whole family can do together. We get unlimited classes for the four of us and his pricing is very reasonable.

My daughter started with Little Champs at 3 yrs old and continued for another 3 years. She learned discipline, humility, and respect. She also became quite an athlete. While she outgrew MMA, it provided a foundation that just can’t be beat! Of all the martial arts studios out there, this place will provide your children with the best all-around experience.

Parents if you’re thinking of putting your kids(3 – 8) into a MMA class, I recommend this place. The sensei is humble and good with kids. My 3yo daughter loves this place. They also offer a bootcamp for parents while the kids are learning MMA.

Family run business. Instructors are very nice and down to earth, no attitudes. The best workouts in town. The instructor loves teaching and it shows. I got into some financial problems so I had to quit, but cant wait to join again.
