This place doesn’t disappoint. Both times we have come for sunday brunch, when everywhere else is packed and the wait time is long, but this place the longest we waited was for 5 – 7 mins. No people in line and we quickly got a table which was perfect for us because we have a newborn baby and we just wanted to go in n out.
Friendly service, our server was Maria she was very nice and always was attentive on our needs. The omelettes were very tasty and big. Overall I would defiantly recommend this place for breakfast brunch.

Local greasy spoon diner offering home style and country breakfast in a friendly neighborhood to seniors and millennials alike. Food was satisfactory, abundant and priced just right.
It appears to be withstanding the test of time but the décor is stuck in the 90s. Bar is connected to the restaurant so when you park and enter through the back door on a sunny day you’ll enter with a two second dark adaptation before your vision adjusts. Waitress was friendly and courteous and staff was attentive with coffee and water refills. I was relieved my Mother enjoyed her breakfast without criticism. This could be our go to breakfast spot.

Went here for breakfast and ordered the eggs Benedict and had to send it back 3 times the eggs were over cooked every time. Also the service was extremely horrible and couldn’t get a drink refill the whole time I was here. I got so fed up I paid the bill immediately and left.

Honestly I dont think I would ever step foot in this place again and that makes me sad.
I used to come here all the time with my grandparents and parents. From what I remember their food was amazing. I’ve been here for breakfast and dinner since then and both visits were nothing to rave about.
The last visit we went for dinner and there was NO ONE in the restaurant part. We were literally the only customers in there. Trying to get a waitress took forever and I was ready to walk out and go somewhere else. Finally the lady shows up she took our drink order and disappeared for seriously 20mins. When she got back and took our food order and then waiting for the food was another story…
The food quality has gone down a bit from what I remember but there service was horrible.

In all fairness I wanted to update my rating and review of this restaurant. I received an email from Pat who informed me what the Cock-​A-​Doodle had available in the way of bottomless sodas at the restaurant. The waitress and I had an obvious misunderstanding about that subject. I don’t know how I got such a wrong understanding but that doesn’t really matter. With this new knowledge I might decide to try lunch or dinner again some day. I may find something on the menu that is more to my liking.

The service is always really great and very friendly! The Eggs Benedict are literally out of this world and deserve a 5 star + rating. The only bummer is that they only serve them on Saturday and Sunday.

Debbie is a great bartender with a sense of humor! She has always taken care of us! The bartenders and waitresses are so nice. They take your order in a prompt matter. The food is great here, and it’s a nice dark bar, that I love to hang out with friends on my day off. I really enjoy playing keno here as well for fun. The ambiance is very low key in the bar. I have never been in the restaurant, but I’m sure it’s great for kids and family occasions! The breakfast is fantastic and affordable. The owner is here quite often, and is very gracious! I highly recommend this place at any time of the day or week. On weekends it is crowded, so arrive early!

Despite the three star rating, I’ll keep coming back. Love the 70s décor with matching waitresses. There’s also something to be said for the dark bar separating the parking lot and the dining room. It’s not everywhere that you get to push past the local alcoholics to get to your eggs Benedict. So, why only 3stars? Nothing special about the eggs Benedict and french toast. To to the cook: sprinkle the f.t. with a bit of nutmeg. The e.b. came with hash browns that were like McDonald’s. Those are in need of remediation.

Great service but food was mediocre… Bummed but my daughter loved her pancakes. It’s a quaint restaurant and the staff was super caring. My food was a bit greasy and the syrup was thin. It wasn’t horrible but wasn’t great. I hear the bloody Mary’s are good though.

This was our first time at this restaurant. It had a mom and pop type atmosphere and was very clean. When we entered there was only one other customer. We were immediately seated and our drink order taken. Menu was very light meaning not many selections were on the menu. At first glance the prices where very expensive. We went ahead and ordered. The service was a little slow which was interesting considering they were not busy. When food arrived it was disappointing considering price. The steak was bland and not cooked as ordered. Chicken fingers where not good to the point my daughter would not eat them. My other two ordered hamburgers and said they were so so. Unfortunately we will not be going back.

Love love love the service. We went through the back, which we later found out it was the bar. The waitress was by far the best service we had a for a long time. She kept refilling our cups, checking to see if we were doing good.
I ordered the tri tip steak and it was heaven. Perfectly grilled and seasoned. My husband ordered the mushroom omelette and he loved it.
I highly recommend this place, especially because it’s inexpensive.

A hole in the wall place with service that goes above and beyond… The place is easy to find with parking in the back. There’s a bar inside with or red booths you can sit in. The server is extremely engaging and personable. She will make you feel like you’re talking to a friend.
The food is just as good as the service… belly busting, god comfort food. Portions are generous and meals come with soup or salad. Go for the calamari because it’s excellent. The pot roast was a bit too salty but otherwise delicious. Mashed potatoes are good too.

This place is amazing! Great food, atmosphere, service, and did I mention food? I’m a picky breakfast eater and this is so wonderful.
Order the mushroom, bacon and cheese omelette with biscuits and gravy and hashbrowns. You won’t regret this decision.
Also super affordable.
