Denny’s

I’ve been here dozens of times and always order the same item for the same price. Today they decided to spike the price up by $ 3. When I asked if they raised their prices they simply stated «we can charge any price we choose.» Okay, sure. Now I choose to use that extra $ 3 for a gallon of gas and head to the next Dennys.

Called 3 times to place a phone order and no answer. Been here a million times and usually no problems at all but I was disappointed tonight.

Excellent breakfast and our waitress Bunnie was outstanding. The staff that was at the door could have been better. I was a waitress many years ago and it is a tough job. But it is not very often that you find a good waitress because most of the time people act as if it is a big inconvenience to wait on you. So I have to say Bunnie was so good that I even called the manager to share with him what a great job she did waiting on us. The Philly Cheese Steak Omelet the bomb! Steak was tender and the omelet was loaded with meat, vegetables and cheese. Excellent way to start a day!

I live a stone’s throw away. The place was clean, well lit and smelled nice. The same can be said about the food. Denny’s is the closest thing to an all nite-​diner in Chino Hills… besides the usual 24 hour drive thru. Sometime you just want to go get your egg skillet on at 3:00 am. I think that’s why Denny’s have survived, their food tastes the same wherever you go. It’s doesn’t get any better or worse.
The service was just fine. We were not rushed, nor were we ignored. My daughter loves the kids plates, my girlfriend enjoys their salads and hot sandwhiches. I have always been a sucker for the Denny’s swiss mushroom burger, for the price it is a great value. Great place for a nice clean meal at any time.

Terrible service. Waited over an hour for a simple to go order. They seemed to forget the order all together. People came in, were seated and paid their bill before our order was even being prepared.
I had to remind them about the order before they even started on it. I asked to see a manager after about 30 minutes but no one ever responded. After asking again to see a manager 10 minutes later I was told that he was busy.
It was a Tuesday night. Not even a weekend. I asked if maybe someone called off and they were short. Nope. Just incompetent.
The food was ok. But, the service was one of the worst take out experiences I’ve had anywhere. I’m very disappointed because this place is close to me and I used to enjoy going there. Never again…

I have been to Denny’s so many times. I have never tried the meatball spaghetti. It was actually good. The waitress was great in the beginning. When we asked for boxes, she puts it right on top of my pancakes. Like really? How the hell would she know if I want it or not. Made my night upset. The nachos is has the perfect spice! Delicious!

Good clean honest and reliable. What more could one ask for at one of America’s favorite restaurant chains? There is something excellent about their orange juice in the morning. Keep it up. See you soon.

Food… Is Denny’s!!! But service is great. Go there every other Saturday and she even remember what we always drink and eat, the second I sat down the coffee already served, great service…

Another shitty meal and burnt ass Baja quesadilla. Fuck this Denny’s sucks dick but I was hungry.

I come here when ever my old high school has a performance and I love it we usually have a party of 25 – 40 and even with the fact that we slow the service down greatly it is still the best experience ever. They never ask us to hurry up and don’t complain if we make a mess (even though we do most of the time).

Pretty basic food, exactly what you’d expect from Denny’s. The reason I gave them 4 stars is because the service at this location is exceptional. I have encountered various staff members here (I live close by) and they are always attentive and helpful, even if you have an off the wall request.
Food has never been bad or come out wrong either and coffee is always fresh.

I am writing as a concerned guest. As many families were waiting for a table as well as I saw a blind man walk in with his guide dog. The manager refused service to this man because he had a dog. The man was obviously blind and the dog had the blind dog vest on. He forced him out and was completely insensitive to people with disabilities. I believe this should never happen and I wish this type of management should be removed from this facility. The other families as well as I looked at the manager in total disgust. This wasn’t just a worker, this was the actual manager. He was a tall dark Indian guy who was rude and completely insensitive. I know that Denny’s corporation does not think this type of behavior is acceptable. I hope Denny’s removes this man and properly trains its staff for sensitivity training.

Good Dennys, fast service, good (not gourmet) food, clean. A good spot to catch breakfast after a late night or before heading into the office. Best Dennys in Chino Hills, much better than the one on Grand.

Oh Denny’s…your glowing neon sign is a beacon of hope to anybody craving a midnight snack (or meal)…especially if you live in Chino Hills. Here we only have Jbox, Mcdonalds and… you, that is, if you want to eat anything past 2 AM (In and out closes by 2) :(
All the Denny’s taste pretty consistent to me. Whether that’s consistently good or consistently bad is up to your taste buds, but to me it’s always been consistently decent. If it were normal hours, I’d never choose to go here, but for a late night option their vast selection and cheap prices do the trick.
Price: very cheap, especially their $ 2, $ 4, $ 6, $ 8 menu. There are some decent selections on there too!
Food: Their breakfast stuff is ok. The bacon tastes like crap so don’t order that (you’ll thank me), their hash browns are ok, and pancakes are pancakes, can’t really mess that up. The skillet stuff tastes better, and their nachos are very good!
Drinks: hmm very pricey juice, is that where you make up your costs Denny’s, huh? :) Their coffee drinks are ok, get the flavored cappuccino!
Service: That differs from different locations and how busy it is, but the service at this particular one has been pretty good
Overall: 3 stars Denny’s, you deserved it. You have a mediocre menu but the day your smart CEO decided to have you open 24 hours, 365 days a year has made you super convenient to all of us hungry people during the wee hours. Well played Denny’s, well played. :)

Service here rocks unlike the awful one closer to where I live off grand. Definitely one of the better dennys I’ve been to.
They are fast, friendly, and professional. Just wanted to write a review to give them the props they deserve.
As far as food, your typical dennys diner fare. Some of my usuals are the sampler, slam burger, white chocolate blueberry pancake puppies, or the fries. I love how crispy their fries are, ooo and their ranch! :)

Dennys is better than IHOP. Grab some food here, cheap and good.

This is the denny’s we prefer to go to. Sorry to the reviewer before me. I’m kinda shocked to read their review. Every time we have gone to the Denny’s it was a pleasant experience. The owner has been always nice to our family. the waiters and waitresses have been always been nice. The food is Denny’s. It’s alright. Honestly this has been the best Denny’s we’ve been to. Nachos are good, but get the half order.

I’m slightly embarassed for Unilocaling a Denny’s, but what the heck. I’m at work and bored.
I haven’t eaten at any Denny’s for ages. But the hubby was craving pancakes so we stopped by here before church on Sunday. Yes, it was pretty crowded as Bong E. mentioned, but surprisingly our experience was quite pleasant. Maybe it’s because I was expecting a horrendous meal and awful food. I have no clue.
The waitress was very friendly and nice and the service was excellent. We ordered and our food came out in about 7 minutes.
I ordered some fajita skillet with bacon, hash browns, sausage, 2 eggs, grilled veggies (bell peppers, onions), and a biscuit. You can subsitutue the biscuit with pancakes or toast, which is quite interesting. It would be a HUGE meal if you opt to get the pancakes.
All in all, I really feel this was a good experience. This particular Denny’s was clean and had great service. Just don’t pay any attention to the screaming kids and displining parents in the backgroun and you’ll have a peaceful meal.

Denny’s is Denny’s… only reason I go there is because Kids Eat Free on Tuesdays and Saturdays. The place is always clean and the waiters nice. Sometimes the crowd is totally insane… come on people… its only DENNY’S.
It seems to me though, that ‘the problem’ or the stigma that Denny’s has stems from the PATRONS who eat there… and not the food or the employees. Located a mile or so from the Prison… im wondering if the patrons are related to the inmates.

Not sure why Denny’s always seems to be crowded on Sunday mornings, so since I didn’t want to deal with the crowd, I decided to call in my order and pick up some food.
So this is the 2^nd or 3^rd time I’ve called in my order and can someone please tell me why is it that each time I order the same thing, they always give me a different price? I’m not sure and the person who answers the phone couldn’t tell me either. Maybe because this time, they tried to tell me that since I ordered an veggie omelette it doesn’t come with toast so we charged you for a side of toast. haha, i could only laugh.
Not only that, I call in my order so that way I don’t have to wait to have them cook it. So when I came in to pay, they tell me that my order got delayed because someone placed a large order in front of me. I would understand that if I came right in after I called, but I waited like 15 – 20 minutes before I left to pick it up.
Not a very good experience for me at this Denny’s. The only reason for 2 stars is because of the Denny’s factor, I think everyone I know has a late night Denny’s story.
