I had my wedding at this facility in June of 2014. Pricing: I ended up renting out the entirety of the large banquet hall and gazebo. The price for just the hall/gazebo was fairly competitive, but got a bit more expensive than I wanted when I added in the cost of the dance floor, AV equipment, kitchen, extra time, and sheriff(required for an event that serves alcohol). Except for the price of the extra time and sheriff(which is out of the venue’s hands and a completely understandable necessity), I feel that the pricing was high but completely fair. Gazebo: The gazebo was great. We were able to fit 75 people comfortably inside of it for our ceremony. Even better, the chairs for the ceremony were provided and set up by the venue staff. Banquet Hall: The banquet hall was huge! It was also very well maintained and, like the gazebo, included tables and chairs that were set up by the venue staff. The kitchen that I rented out was absolutely stunning. It is a large industrial kitchen and must be seen to be believed. The caterer I hired seemed to have zero problems working with it. Negatives: * This is a very new and beautiful venue and the city aims to keep it that way. Because of this, we weren’t allowed to stick anything on any of the walls. Period. * Unlike most venues we looked at, this venue did NOT include any time for setup. Setup time came out of our rental time(which is why we paid for an extra hour). Positives: * Even though we couldn’t stick things on walls, the venue made up for it by allowing us to use their easels. Very cool. * Even though we weren’t allowed any free time for setup, I almost feel like it was okay because of how much setup the venue did for me. By the time my rental started, ALL the tables and chairs had been set up EXACTLY how we discussed. Though I still would have liked a freebie setup hour, the staff’s commitment to getting the venue 100% ready for my wedding was an excellent trade off. * Venue staff remained onsite during our wedding and were quick to aid us with anything we needed so long as they could provide for it. Lasting comments: The single greatest thing that this venue had to offer was the incredible staff that worked with us. We did not meet a SINGLE person who was not an absolute joy to work with. They were ALL courteous, accommodating, good-tempered, and, above all else, VERY professional without being overly serious or curt. I am very happy that I chose to have my wedding at the Chino Hills Community Center. It was wonderful.
