We had breakfast, my husband had a full order of biscuits and gravy I had the skillet plate-eggs, mushrooms, ham, cheese, and American fries. The food was served hot but the kitchen was a little slower than we would have liked. The server seemed a little overwhelmed and flustered when we first arrived. If we would provide any advice: only order ½ order of biscuits and gravy. It’s a large order otherwise!

This is a nice little spot out by the tracks. My grandpa used to take us here when we were kids so some nostalgia for sure. In 25 years, nothing has really changed, same greasy food and the locals looked about the same, albeit friendly and curious about us out of towners. They still cook a great breakfast and have a decent cup of coffee. Service was slow but we did go on Tuesday when every menu item is $ 4.50(pretty cool little special!) I’ll always go back, reminds me of my childhood and supports local business.

I travel a lot and am always looking for a local restaurant to eat at with home made food and this is it. It seems like most everything here is home made and inexpensive. It is kind of a hole in the wall place with great food.

This place is a little slow and it is not easy to find if you are not familiar with Chillicothe. It looks like a hole from the outside, but it was more than worth the trip. Personally, I get something from their breakfast menu whenever I go there, regardless of the time of the day. The biscuits are not really biscuits, they are these huge square things, but are very good. I recommend you give them a try, especially in the mornings.

Best breakfast anywhere close by, and biggest tenderloin I’ve ever seen(definitely a meal for 2 or more)

Locals love this place, it’s known for daily specials and looks like a movie set diner. We eat there about once a month for lunch and keep going back.
