Disgusting, filthy, shabby room. Quiet, though, and large. Amanda (I think) at check in was very friendly and professional. The rate was good at $ 49 (AAA rate) + $ 10 for our dog.
We didn’t want to touch anything in the room. The carpet was frayed and stained. Bugs trapped in spider webs all over. Water stains on the ceiling. Two sinks in the large bathroom that drained so slowly you had time to get grossed out thinking about WHY they’re draining so slowly. Cobwebs swaying in the breeze. Oh, it was bad. So bad that we didn’t even shower there because the thought of being naked in that room was too scary lol.
This morning while straightening the bedspread before we left, we noticed something under the bed and discovered either a feminine hygiene product or a diaper, I can’t really say, as we picked it up and threw it away eew eew eew without looking any closer. It was new, in a package, but still.
Since the rate was good, Amanda was good, and we DID get a decent night’s sleep, I’m going to give it 2 stars. With some serious attention to maintenance and better housekeeping, this place could be good because of the big rooms and friendly staff.
